I have the subscription and I should probably use more of the features. But it takes forever to add a transaction once you hit add. ### 3/5 — Was Great *2024-10-07* I’ve used this for years as my quick bank balance check when using my debit card and it was Great! Lately the app no longer has a carry forward balance after each transaction, just 0.00. Also the pending at the top does not update when charges are cleared anymore. Just frustrating since it worked previously. ### 2/5 — Incorrect Calculations *2024-10-06* Frequently this app will not keep correct calculations. I can actually see the balance numbers changing when I’m not touching anything. I pay for this app but I will probably switch to something else bc this is very annoying. I enter everything and balance about once a week but now I cannot get it to balance bc it cannot do math. I have closed and reopened but that doesnt help. ### 3/5 — Crashes *2024-06-27, version 6.1.1* I have the paid version and it keeps crashing when I try to add a bill. ### 2/5 — Good…when it works *2024-05-26* I’ve used Balance Pro for several years using a iPad Pro (iOS always current), but recently (May 2024) Balance Pro has shut down with any attempt to enter a transaction. The developer said he has initiated multiple “fixes”, but none have solved the dilemma I have experienced. I have subsequently initiated a simple Google Sheets “app” of my own that works just fine. I can’t do a search, but that function didn’t work in Balance Pro anyway. ### 3/5 — Face ID *2024-05-20, version 6.0.5* Biometrics worked good before. Now can’t find away to use Face ID ### 2/5 — Older version was much better *2023-09-26* After the last update September 2023, the app is not working correctly. Duplicating debts, running extremely slow, crashing. I have used this app for many years and this latest update has ruined everything good about it. ### 3/5 — Old Version was better. *2023-09-18* Do not like this New Version of Balance at all. After spending a long time, I did get some of my Accounts to pull in. Many of them would never import. The Account names are not in Alphabetical Order (which they were in the old version). I was asked to pay to use it and I gladly did. Just went on there to maintain my accounts and was asked to create a password. Did that. My accounts are now MIA . Continuously using it daily as it has evolved. Went to use it the other day and it is asking me to make an account. I already had an account. I’ve been using it for years! After multiple tries to get into my account, I decided to try making a “new” account. I have entered all the required information and nothing happens. Just downloaded a different app due to this issue. Hopefully there is a fix for what happened. ***UPDATED 2/2023 - Sorry for the poor review. The app is now working again. I believe the issue was my phone. Technical issues. Just bought this app yesterday and when I try to open it there’s nothing. ### 3/5 — Has Potential But Needs Work *2023-01-16* This app has been around a while so I find it shocking that it has the issues it does. I entered a Comcast Bill of $89 due monthly on the 28th. Then I realized oh, it’s the 25th. Well there is no edit screen to easily change all these bills to the 25th. So I delete the old bill and add the new one with the date of the 25th. However no matter what I do I now have two Comcast payments. One the 25th and one the 28th. No amount of deleting will get rid of one of these accounts. **Developer response:** Hi there! Thank you for your feedback. I have fixed the bill deleting issue. I signed up to try this software out and it was not for me. I cancelled and they will not refund. I literally cancelled within 24 hours. I tried to request a refund twice stating this was not for me and I will not use it and it was denied both times. It’s great and I really enjoy it, super user friendly and customizable. The only problem I’ve run into, and the reason I’m doing 4 stars instead of 5, is that EVERY SINGLE TIME an update has been pushed and I run it, it completely messes up my accounts. I just ran an update today on it (May 10th) and now my savings account is showing the last transaction from April 24th. My checking shows correct dates of last transactions but the balance is wrong so now i have to spend time combing through both accounts to make corrections.
