You actually have little time to react. After I finish a game, the add pops up and the sound is loud. I mute the ad, then close it when it’s done playing. The next game starts with sound on. I go to the options menu (the sound is showing ad muted already) I click the mute button, then click it again to mute again. I play a level, the ad comes on and I repeat the entire process over again. Very annoying. You have to be a quick thinker, so it keeps you on edge. But... I get it has to be ads but the ads are super long and they are in between every single board. It gets so frustrating having to wait that long in between each board.
