Sparkles enough to keep me entertained. note for the dev: please add an adjustable layout for the launch button. I’m going to be honest I only heard of this game because of the free trial on the phone, but when I noticed it was on Xbox game pass I quickly learned playing it on M&K or Controller is so much better. Yes you can connect a BT controller to your phone and play that way, if you have one of those controllers that turns your phone into a Nintendo switch then I will 100% recommend this game ### 4/5 — Controller support *2026-08-04, version 1.13* This game needs controller support, other than that, pretty fun and I love the one time purchase model. What’s here is imaginative and thoughtful. Great everything, my only possible complaint is how long the game is. This is a landmark not only for the genre, but for games as a whole. Absolutely spectacular. I would not hesitate a moment if there were an expansion at the same price. Any more content is pure gravy. Edit: the character that plays the game itself sucks. Seems to be required to reach the actual end of the game. I have cancer and will probably never see it. I wouldn’t have unchecked cloud saves, so my save should have been there. Many hours of playing wasted!) Overall a good, fun, well made breakout/shmup style game with a decent variety in the characters/balls/abilities. Some issues though. The town could be better done. The normal viewing angle is too low, making it hard to see buildings at the bottom where the foliage partly covers them and making it sometimes hard to select or differentiate adjacent buildings when they're placed tightly together (though it's fine while editing - why not just use the editing angle all the time?? or at least make it an option), and after you've unlocked a fair number of buildings, it becomes pretty unwieldy trying to manage where to put everything to optimize gathering of resources and fostering construction/upgrades. In editing mode when you have a lot of buildings so the camera is zoomed out, it becomes difficult to see the expected ball path line (on my iphone 15 max pro). Also during resource collection, balls can slip through the cracks between buildings. Also the Radical character is ridiculous. I can sort of understand having an autoplay char for those that want to do other stuff while it plays out (though personally that's not my thing), but its ai is horrible! I’ve put this game down for multiple days wanting to go back to it terrified that all my time will be wasted. UPDATE IT HAPPENED AGAIN after happening again I’m dropping the game entirely. I don’t know why it’s so fixated on my cloudsave.
