But it lacks several features. Such as copy and paste, maybe different thickness for pieces, and a way to turn the pieces or lengthen them by prressing buttons, cause it is just to hard to touch the pieces themselves. They really did a bad job advertising, posting up lies wont help you gain followers. ### 4/5 — Buy it if you build things for fun! *2011-03-08, version 1.1* This is a fun app with a few quirks, but they shouldn't get in the way of you buying it if you like building things (either virtually or "in real life"). It's basically a blank slate that you can fill with bumpers, tubes, and boards to create anything from a rapid-fire ball launcher to a pinball game. It's easy to play, and it's really endlessly fun if you're into this kind of construction game. I'm the kind of person who still occasionally plays with blocks at age 30, and I can mess around with this for hours. There are a few areas where it could improve: 1. Stretching and rotation of some objects is tricky at times, making it a bit hard to build exactly what you want if you're looking to make something really complex. 2. BallFallDown won't multitask under iOS 4, so you have to wait a few seconds for it to relaunch if you switch apps. To be fair: this is pretty fast, and it does remember exactly where you were when you come back. 3. Most of the graphics look really nice, but a few could be more polished. Overall, this is a very well-made but simple-looking game. I don't really have any major issues with it, and the free-form fun I get from it more than makes up for the quirks. If you look at the description and screenshots and think "boring," it's probably not for you, but if you're intrigued, buy it! At $1, you can't go wrong. Disclosure: I am tangentially associated with this app, but had nothing to do with the design or coding. Worthless *2011-03-08, version 1.1* It's neat for an hour or two but the physics have some sort of randomizer that makes complex tampering near impossible. It just acts really funny. Plus there are 15 types of balls and maybe 3 worthwhile contraptions to manipulate them. I'd recommend this game as an intro to physics games for a kid in grade school but adults won't find much use for it. It's slightly better than completely worthless... slightly.. ### 5/5 — So much more than just a game! *2011-03-08, version 1.1* I installed this App hoping to find something stimulating for the kids; what I found is that it is a lot more than just a normal game. It is more like a construction set with layers that are endlessly appealing to adults as well. My favorite parts are the physics and the app's interaction with the orientation of the iPad. I put this on my desk at the office and it is the best executive toy I have seen. My colleagues are mesmerized by it. Try it out. You will not feel guilty letting your kids play this; it is all free form and stimulates creativity. You will have fun with it too. It is nothing like Angry Birds, there are no levels and there is no game. This should not be filed under the game section of the app store as it is misleading. I first played by myself and got addicted. Then my 8 year old wanted to see what I was doing so she first watched then fell in love. Now we play together and it's so much fun. He little brother is now getting into watching us play and soon he'll be addicted as well. I love that it's not about keeping score and "winning".
