Would like to see some improvements: 1. Allow home/home premium users with 1 location go straight to radar or current conditions on app launch. The extra click is annoying. 2. Create a custom iPhone app and not a mirror of the website. 3. Can we have widgets to display current conditions? 4. Please add velocity product to local radar. ### 3/5 — Great forecast info *2025-07-12* The forecast information and map tools are really fantastic. They have great insight for agricultural forecasting and also pavement forecasting. They’re now cast provide great information for your location and depending on what year you pay for they have a great live chat feature where you can talk straight to a meteorologist about questions for your local forecast. I gave the system of three out of five for the simple fact that you cannot track your phones location and get an alert based on your actual locationthe location that you have to be predefined in the app so if you travel a lot, this may not be ideal for you ### 4/5 — Overall good but has its drawbacks *2024-12-27* For $80 a year it should be able to “follow my location” and have a home location saved. ### 3/5 — Just ok *2024-12-01* Only gives you 10 day forecast not monthly or long range. ### 5/5 — Blown Away! 😃 *2024-11-29* I just downloaded the Clarity Weather App for my service. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for and then some… Spectacular! -Ken Michaels Meridian, Mississippi ### 5/5 — Saves our athletic department valuable time and money! *2023-11-22* We have had a strong relationship with BAMwx since the days of personal text updates! Their accurate brand of forecasting weather has enabled our athletic department to save time and money. We rely on them to make decisions based on outdoor events and practices. There have been many times when they predict rain at game time, we postpone and other schools get a partial game in and have they to come back another day. That costs money for drivers, gas and it may be tough to get officials for the make up date. Where we have cancelled early, rescheduled and found officials for the makeup game before all the other teams. This new app is a game changer! I would highly recommend. ### 5/5 — It’s incredible *2023-11-17* Since 2011 I’ve formed a close and very valuable friendship with the people of BAM. It is nothing short of a true American success story to see just how high the heights have been achieved for them. This is yet another level up.. backyard forecasting. I never thought I’d see it.. I was dead wrong.. the dedication, professionalism and large amounts of crucial forecast data make this an absolute MUST GET. Why pay for something when you can get something else just as good free? ### 1/5 — App dosnt work *2026-06-22* I’ve had bam weather for over a year but something has happened with the app and now it will not open. Every other app I have works just fine. I even went as far as to factory reset my iPhone and it worked for about 2 hours and it’s back to not working now. Just sucks because I have a subscription and I can’t access the content and I don’t get severe weather alerts now. ### 1/5 — Not a good app *2025-11-29* Hand over fist, for weather channel info. It’s a bad app ### 1/5 — Seriously *2025-11-21* Wow, first thing this app asks for is your email? I guess so it can track you, send you junk email, et. So if you don’t have a VPN or anti-virus this app is for you. Can’t even open the app to explore it and then decide. 👎👎👎 ### 1/5 — Not worth $85 a year *2024-12-24* So I signed up for their lowest tier plan. It's definitely not worth it. Yes, it's a basic weather app. Radar is "smoothed” you could get a great yearly plan with Radar Omega or Radar Scope for 85 a year. Weather app Wxl23 is a great free app to pull weather models (GFS, HRRR and so on), CPC Outlooks, meso discussions and so on for free. Bypass this until Clarity adds much more to their app. ### 1/5 — No email code received *2024-09-13* I attempted to put my email in the app for a code but I haven’t received my code to access the app. I checked my spam folder and inbox several times. ### 1/5 — Save your money *2023-12-04* Rarely ever correct on monthly forecasts. When it does rain they will show a 10% chance. Or they’ll show an 80% chance and it won’t do anything. Very expensive to be wrong so often. ### 2/5 — Location tracking *2026-07-19* I expect a paid weather service to be able to track my location and give me alerts for severe weather based on my current location. This app won’t do that. It just provides info based on saved locations. So you you are working in the field 30 miles north and there is lightning in the area or a tornado warning you are SOL. ### 2/5 — I’m not impressed *2026-04-16* I’m not impressed that there’s nothing to try before buying. I made the mistake of paying for a year of the home level. I’m not impressed with the UI, I’m not impressed with the information available, and at this point I feel like the information they post on Facebook is as good as what you pay $100 a year for. I bought this over continuing with Carrot weather. Carrot’s rain predictions just sucked, but everything else is leagues ahead of this app. I’ll continue to give it a try, but after a few weeks I’m just left disappointed. ### 2/5 — Just ok *2025-08-23* The app is better than the big commercial ones but still not great. Customized notifications, plus they offer lives to keep you up to date as to what’s around you. They call the storms and warnings way before NWS. Can’t beat them. ### 5/5 — Impressive! *2026-06-18* I was hesitant to spend the $8/month (special pricing) but wow! It has already paid for itself!! I feel so prepared! Is it the best app? No (but pretty darn close!) Is it a horrible app? Absolutely not! But, it truly saves lives! No weather app will be perfect, but the state-of-the-art location-specific alerts are out of this world!! I am so impressed!! Sure beats a county tornado siren going off that has no relevance to my exact location and spreading panic and mayhem! This is 100% my go to for all weather. I can’t even watch the local stations anymore…find them lacking in detailed information. ### 5/5 — Weather Specific Warnings, ahead of NWS *2026-06-18* This weather app is by far the best out there. They issue warnings often ahead of the NWS, giving time to get ahead of the storm and be safe. We only get a warning notification if we are in the warning, and we always know to seek shelter or not when the sirens have sounded (often after we were already aware thanks to BAM). No underselling storms or being surprised. I’m pretty away of what’s ahead because of them. As a mom to 3 young kids, and no basement, storms can get scary. But, with BAM I feel much more at peace and prepared. Thank you for all that you do. ### 5/5 — Great resource *2025-06-28* I have been evaluating the app for a use in a public safety application. I have been very impressed with the notifications, radar accuracy, Now Cast information, and lightning alerts. I am hopeful we are able to continue using the application. It has been a valuable tool to ensure safety at outdoor events. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the service to anyone in public safety or just a weather enthusiast. ### 5/5 — It is very good, but it has some pricing issues. *2025-01-12* I am giving this a five because I believe it deserves it. But $85 should get you the future snow and radar. and if they add that it would be perfect. But other than that, I would lower it down to $30 because it is not worth that much.
