As a parent I do t mind my child seeing an ad now and then for toys or kids related things. The app is free I get it. But you don’t so much as mention it! Then the first ad that popped up was extremely inappropriate showing a game where the goal is to kill some sort of creature. My daughter is 5, what the hell were you thinking? If your ads were tailored through your ad network supplier to be for kids, and if you also say upfront, the game is free but there are kid friendly ads. Great, I would have totally let her get it. I don’t mind ads for a free game as long as the ads are appropriate. But by being deceitful and not mentioning it, you cause a lot of upset parents to delete and write bad reviews. Some of your other games look nice but I will not pay for and download them because I can no longer trust you. Selling a product means establishing trust with the consumer. To put out a free game among your other paid games as a way to draw in consumers to your app ecosystem is a smart idea. But to be deceitful about the content of that game is disgusting. And it shows me and other parents that you are not in this business to develop great kids games and further childhood development, taking part in the revolution of screens becoming powerful teaching tools for kids. No, it shows me you are in it for money and only money, and that you feel children are easy targets. Maybe they will click on some ads by mistake, maybe they will beg parents to purchase the full games, easy targets. Shame on you. I am reporting this app and it’s ads to Apple, as well as making sure every parent I come across on every blog I participate in, knows about your deceitful practices so that they can make up their minds for themselves. Again, shame on you. Your business model is broken. Consumers are not cows you can milk. We are just like you, moms and dads who have their eyes wide open. You should really be so ashamed of yourselves. It was the deceit that did it. You should have been upfront. You got parents leaving reviews saying they leave their kids alone with the game!! Do they even know!!
