You could see when people apply and read their resume and cover letter. Now the app says to go to a computer to read the app and cover letter. Not sure what the point of this app is any longer. ### 3/5 — Need Talent Pools *2023-02-25* Need to be able to send candidates to talent pools from mobile. Other than that it’s ok. Also need to be able to copy phone number and choose what app to text from. We use a voip app for our office and I don’t want to text from my personal phone. ### 1/5 — Forced to use limited app *2022-10-30, version 1.6.4* It bothers me that users are forced robuste this dysfunctional and limited app when opening a link from a bamboohr email. ### 1/5 — Unusable on an iPAD *2022-05-10* I don’t know why the links force the app instead of one of my browsers. This app is horrible and doesn’t scale larger than a phone. So all of the information is more or less lost on the many pages of text. Dear BambooHR. Get the device capabilities, and either launch a browser by default on iPAD or take the 45m needed to recompile a version that scales up when its not a phone. ### 2/5 — Still immature *2022-05-06* We started using it. Massive amounts of emails sent to your inbox and no way to control it (this actually might be a GDPR concern). Their App doesn’t support notification (something most Apps support about 15 hrs ago). For a young company you’d think they’d get these basics right first. ### 1/5 — Sucks on an IPAD *2020-11-30* Does not work well when you are trying to use an IPad. Everything on here is still sent out by email and now they have to go on here to keep up with our time when before it was just a spread sheet. Seem silly to reinvent the wheel here. You can’t edit, create, or change the status of/remove any job postings. I would have rathered be able to look at the job postings and applicants through the original bamboohr app instead of having to switch to a different app to do it. Makes no sense. Why even make a separate app at this point? This fits in perfectly with the rest of BambooHR’s painfully difficult software offerings. ### 1/5 — No resume? *2025-01-16* A Hiring app where you can’t look at somebody’s resume doesn’t really make sense. that seems like a basic requirement. ### 1/5 — Locked me out *2025-01-13* Really bad when you need to hire someone quick and you cannot even access the information because this locks you out and doesn’t work fast enough to help solve the issue or even reset the password!! It works well and makes my job of sorting resumes and managing the recruiting process fast, easy and efficient. I highly recommend to others. ### 5/5 — Won’t load on iPhone Xs - updated 10/1 *2018-10-03* Was excited to manage hiring/ATS on mobile but this app does not load. The animated b repeats indefinitely. Occasionally a message about the best things in life are worth waiting for. I’ve deleted and reinstalled twice. Truly delightful to use. The app only provides the basic functionalities with ease like candidate profiles in an organized manner, but pales in comparison to all the capabilities that the ATS can perform. ### 4/5 — Good Hiring App *2020-07-28* We have been BambooHR customers for 2 years. The ATS, albeit somewhat manual, has a slick overall flow and a very functional hiring app. It is easy to review resumes and collaborate with the management team. I wish that I could text from within the app which could be recorded in the ATS. I have submitted a prod dev request but to no avail. Currently, texting must be done from my cell phone. Over the last 2 years, BambooHR has made some neat updates. But, the hiring app has essentially remained the same during this time. ### 4/5 — Needs Email Inbox *2019-08-24, version 1.3.1* Need Openings | Candidates | Messages There needs to be a Messages center where active in/out/New messages can quickly be seen, read, and replied.
