They report that the app says that they are clocked in, but when going back into the app to clock out, it shows that BambooHR never took their clock in time. Along with that issue, the app just crashes and won’t let my employees into the app at all. The app just says that they will be down and are trying to get back up soon, and this prevents my employees from clocking in our clocking out on time. Especially when they are designed to appear strategically as you are trying to navigate app functions making you inadvertently open the ad. ### 3/5 — Login bug is driving me bananas *2026-06-20, version 5.26* I couldn’t figure out a better place to put this so I’ll have to update my review after it gets fixed. We are loyal Bamboo customers and in general the app works fine. However, the bug I found affects both the HR and the Hiring app. When you log in using your email and a password app (I use LastPass), the password field auto fills with your EMAIL. Every single damn time. This means I have to go copy paste my password manually from my password app. Then I have to go grab the code from the authenticator app and I usually run out of time to get it entered before the code expires and the bamboo login page resets itself to the start page with our company domain. So half the time I can’t get into the app to use it. Please fix this! In the Hiring app too, it’s the exact same problem! ### 3/5 — Not Optimized for iPad *2026-06-11, version 5.26* Tell your developers not to be lazy and optimize the app for iPadOS. Will give the app 5 stars when resolved. ### 3/5 — Hasn’t been a issue until now *2026-05-27, version 5.25* “Notes not saving” This time my manager is requesting notes and my notes are not saving or uploading, they have only a couple times but I do them everyday. But there not uploading it says “unable to update clock session data” but I’m just updating my notes. ### 1/5 — Sucks *2026-04-21, version 5.22.2* Bamboo is so glitchy has so many bugs. Try to put in hours on the time sheet and sometimes the app just closes not allowing you to put in your hours. Honestly this is a pathetic excuse of a HR app. Half the time you can’t even get in contact with HR. ### 1/5 — Slow *2026-03-21, version 5.20* Slow and has a lot of issues do not recommend ### 2/5 — No passkey login = no login *2026-03-17, version 5.20* It was great until they pushed me to setup a passkey on my computer and don’t allow passkey logins on the app so now I can’t login at all. I can read/delete emails as needed. This app keeps everything. After finally being able to set a password, I’m asked for a verification code sent to my phone number. I got the number. Typed it in. Did not work. This has been the case for nearly all of my coworkers. Everyone has a headache and everyone wants to get paid. Can’t login, can’t reset your password. Deleted the app and using the website, at least that allows me to log in, but the website is obviously designed to force you to use app on the mobile.
