## What is Bancada?

Bancada helps you keep cooking without stopping to calculate, measure conversions, or take notes.

Start with a recipe, tell Bancada how much of a key ingredient you have, and every scalable amount is recalculated with deterministic Swift math. If a result lands between whole units—like 2.25 eggs—you get clear options and practical trade-offs.

COOK WITH CONFIDENCE

• Adjust recipes up or down from the ingredient you have
• Review every recalculated amount before you begin
• Prepare your mise en place with a simple checklist
• Follow large, readable, step-by-step instructions
• Run, pause, and extend cooking timers
• Record oven time and temperature

LEARN FROM EVERY BATCH

• Rate each preparation and add notes over time
• Compare recent attempts side by side
• See how scale, timing, and observations changed
• Keep a manual pantry and deduct matched ingredients after cooking

PRIVATE, ON-DEVICE HELP

On supported devices, Apple’s on-device Foundation Models can draft a recipe or explain an adjustment. Recipe scaling itself never depends on generated math and continues to work when Apple Intelligence is unavailable.

Bancada works without an account, ads, analytics, or a developer-operated server. Your recipes, pantry, photos, attempts, ratings, and notes stay in the app’s local container.

HANDS-BUSY FEATURES

Use Siri and Shortcuts to start a recipe, move to the next step, or set a cooking timer. The Apple Watch companion mirrors the current step and timer during an active cooking session.

Bancada is a practical companion for home cooks, bakers, and anyone who wants repeatable results without losing the flow of cooking.
