You cannot redistribute songs between set lists. There is also no way to retitle a set list. ### 4/5 — Great concept *2025-11-11, version 9.0* App crashes every time I try to delete a member from a gig. Great concept. Recently came to use it and the app crashes after 5 seconds and the web page logs me out after 10 seconds. Hopefully the options for the song list and set lists can be expanded to include sequencing options (alphabetical, etc...) and possibly some pop ups warning that a song is already in the song list and/or setlist, to avoid repeating entries. ### 4/5 — Keep going! *2024-06-13, version 8.0* Love what you’re doing with this app. Though it is a “free” app with in-app purchases, it immediately cues you to pay $5.99 a month no bypass to use the app with limitations on its features. The plus side: only one member needs to pay the monthly fee. Inviting my band mates to join the scheduling app provided them each with a link to Band Mule which generates the login page. It will not cue your band mates to create a profile. They should simply log in with their email and whichever password they desire. This confuses us for a short time. We are using this app primarily to organize our weekly availability and build a calendar. Each member is able to select the days which they are available but not the times of day they are available. For example, I may be able to practice Wednesday after work, but according to my availability, I’m available all of Wednesday. I hope that the folks at Band Mule are able to make some adjustments to make my purchase worth it! A useful feature would be stage times, load in, soundcheck, support, and changeover. Even better if this could be shareable outside the app for support act, tech etc. ### 3/5 — So much potential, but buggy *2024-01-09, version 8.0* I really want to like this app, but so far I’ve had a lot of problems with it crashing. Also, it’s kinda hot or miss if you get notifications… One of my biggest complaints is that you can’t rearrange songs in a set list. It will let you move the song, but it just either goes back to where it was or it just lands wherever it wants in the set list, basically making it useless. I feel like every problem it has could easily be fixed by the developer. If these issues are resolved I’ll update my review; however as it is the app is nearly useless. ### 2/5 — Trouble with calendar *2023-12-11* I’m having trouble getting the calendar to work for each member to be able to mark when they are not available, each member’s names are showing but it won’t let them mark when they are not available, it only allows you to mark when the band is not available. Can someone please help me out with this? ### 4/5 — It works for us. *2023-11-26, version 8.0* Overall been a solid app for our band. We have 20 plus people in the group. One disadvantage is it real east for the android people to accidentally delete songs from a set list. The app has gotten a lot more stable over the last year or so. Two level of access would be great where only certain people have the ability to delete people or songs from the group would be ideal. ### 3/5 — Trying it out *2023-11-18, version 8.0* Trying this out with our band. I’ll come back after using it for a bit for a more in depth review. As of now, it’s ok. Most things work. The setlist option is pretty bad. I put in all of our songs, created a setlist, tried to put them in the correct order and it won’t let me change the first song in the setlist. As soon as I change the order and change the first song, it just moves it back to the top or just picks a random song to be first. Numerous times. Even reinstalled several times. They don’t get the email or the invite. I’m at the end of my rope with this. I seem to be the only one that I know that has had this issue. I’ve checked all settings within my email, phone, the app… I just will not send invites. iOS vs. android does not seem to matter. Both platforms are within n my band and still nothing. Please help. So far so good. But every time I open said link it takes me to the App Store to open the app from there. Because of this the invitation doesnt carry through. On other apps (Reddit for example) this is as simple as hold pressing the link and selecting ‘open in the corresponding app’. But there is no such option. So I basically can’t join a band on there. Fallen at the first hurdle and wasted time trying to open the link in safari/chrome etc ### 1/5 — App Crashes Nonstop *2023-04-22, version 6.5* I downloaded the app today and every time I login, whether via my phone or computer it crashes after a few seconds. Worthless. *2022-07-13, version 6.1* The set list rearranges itself. Tried reinstalling, closing, resetting iPhone. This is a deal breaker for any band. Lots of complaints on dates rearranging themselves too. On a serious note - a nice feature would be to be able to add songs to a “work in progress” playlist.
