Your whole band, rehearsing from the same chart. Drop in a song. Bandee listens to the whole recording and hands back a chart your team can actually use: the song split into sections with real bar counts, its key and tempo, the lyrics written out, and every instrument on its own fader. Built for worship teams and small bands who learn songs from recordings, not from sheet music. WHAT ONE SONG GIVES YOU • Sections with honest bar counts, coloured straight onto the waveform so you can see the arrangement at a glance. • Separated parts, each on its own fader: drums, bass, vocals and rhythm, with guitar and keys split out of the rhythm track on Plus. • A click track locked to the detected tempo. • Key, tempo and time signature, read from the recording. • The lyrics, transcribed and laid out down the song. • Neutral section names (A1, B1, C1), because that is what the audio honestly supports. Rename any of them to VERSE or CHORUS and the name sticks. PRACTISE THE HARD PART • Tap a section to play it. Hold it to loop it. • Set a loop anywhere and drag its edges. • Slow the song down without dropping the pitch. • Transpose to your singer's key. • Pull the vocals down to practise your own line, or solo the bass to learn it. BRING THE BAND • Make a band and add your members. • Build setlists in running order for a service or a gig. • Everyone opens the same chart, so nobody is counting a different number of bars. • Talk in the setlist: comments sit next to the song they are about. HOW IT WORKS 1. Add a song from your files, a link, or another app. 2. Bandee listens to it on our servers and builds the chart in seconds, instead of tying up your phone. 3. Correct anything you disagree with. The detector proposes a draft; section edges, names and colours are yours. Your uploaded audio is used for the analysis and is not kept afterwards. Your songs stay private to your account unless you put them in a setlist and invite your own bandmates. FREE AND PLUS Every new account starts with welcome minutes to chart its first songs. Free keeps every song it charts, plays everything your band shares with you, and never spends a minute doing either. Minutes are only for studying a recording Bandee has not heard before. Add more with a top-up any time, or subscribe: Bandee Plus adds 60 minutes of new analysis every month, and splits the guitar and keys onto their own faders. The key dial runs twelve semitones either way, with 8vb and 8va on the two notches that share the original's name, so a song pitched too high for a singer can drop an octave and keep its key. Larger shifts are baked in the cloud by the same engine your phone uses for the small ones, so the two sound alike, and every key you have used stays on the phone and comes back instantly. A song's key is something you can correct. Tap the Key card and set it, and the chart follows. When a second reading of the song disagrees with the first, the card says so and opens when tapped, instead of quietly showing one answer as though it were certain. A setlist chart is yours until you send it. Change a shared song's key, tempo, section names or lyrics as much as you like and the band sees nothing until you press the arrow on the card. Leaving the cockpit with something unsent asks first, and the band is told what you settled on rather than everything you tried on the way. Who plays what, song by song. Put yourself on a song, and if you lead the band, put anyone on it. The faces show on the setlist row and at the top of the cockpit, one person to a part, and whoever is singing it carries a Lead Singer tag. Nothing reaches the band until you send it. Pin a message. Band rooms and setlist threads both hold a pinned strip at the top, and tapping it opens the whole list. Jumping to an older message now lands on that message, and the way back to the newest one no longer travels through everything in between. A YouTube link in chat shows what it is. Downloads run together. Each song carries its own progress, a download no longer takes over the import screen, and tapping a song that is already downloading opens it instead of offering to download it again. Every library row now shows the meter and the length of the song. Imports say no before they charge you rather than after, and the screen that analyses a song is the same panel the pickers already use. Some libraries now open with three songs already charted, ours rather than yours, there to play rather than to import. A chat header folds away while you are typing, in a setlist thread as well as a band room, so the conversation gets the screen. A long band name stops reading from underneath its own tile, the Bands screen sits on one margin, and Time signature and Key are popups on both phones now instead of three screens that nearly agreed. ### 1.0.6 — 2026-09-11 Setlists follow the band while you are looking at them. A song someone adds, removes, renames or re-keys turns up on your screen instead of waiting for you to leave the set and come back, and the header counts what is actually there. A shared song downloads once. Its row shows its own progress, that ring and the analysing screen agree on one number, and tapping the row again does not start a second download. Every row shows the tempo of the chart you will actually hear, so a setlist and the cockpit stop disagreeing about a song. Anyone in the band can change a shared song's meter without spending minutes, and it asks first, because that chart is what everyone reads. A song removed from a setlist is forgotten on every phone that followed it, so the space comes back and re-adding it starts clean. Swipe a message to reply, the way you already do everywhere else. The message you are answering sits above the box until you send, and a thread that is still loading now looks like a thread instead of a blank page. Your band roster is a list you can ask questions of: how many members, sorted how you like, filtered by instrument, and searchable. Setlist rows show the key your band actually set, and the last song in a set no longer hides behind the add button. Imports are steadier. One song draws one card, that card says what the screen says, and cancel is a real request rather than a screen that closes on you. Running out of minutes now offers a way to add them. Importing a song someone else is already importing joins their job instead of starting a second one. Photos and covers are sharper on every iPhone. Plans and Add minutes were rebuilt. Both screens show what you actually save, worked out from live App Store prices instead of a number typed in by hand. The player bar folds away behind its own handle and keeps playing, and a message that pops up stays clear of the transport and the add button. And everything answers a press. ### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-08 Free keeps every song it charts. The five song limit is gone. Making a chart no longer takes over the app. Put the analysing screen away and keep using Bandee: the song carries on in the background, shows how far along it is in its own row in your library, and opens when it is ready. Tap that row any time to watch it. Songs gets sort, filters and shelves, and stays quick on a long library. Setlists and bands read the same way now, and a set card says who is on it and when it is called. The band's key follows a setlist song to every phone, and opening a set no longer clears it. Forgot your password? There is a way back in. Creating an account works on a phone that has signed out. Analytics stays off until you turn it on, and now sits under Privacy in Settings. Plus polish across bands, setlists, chat, and the price you see before you spend anything. Fixed bugs and improved performance ### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-04 Your whole band can run the setlist now. Anyone on a set can change its chart and drag songs into the order you will play them, and the set's chat records who did what, so nobody has to ask who put it in G. You can mute a setlist you do not need notifications from without leaving it. Invite your band from the top of Settings. One link, and their phone finds the right store. Everyone's @handle sits beside their name in the roster and in their messages, so the person the set's history names is someone you can find. The mixer tells the truth. Toggles do what they show, the click follows its row, and the faders arrive only once they can change the sound. Key and Tempo wait for the song to load instead of asking you to try again. Your welcome minutes come with your subscription.
