Bandoneon sound is recorded with Alfred Arnold year 1935 bandoneon which has tuned 442 Hz.

This amazing Bandoneon application is both for players and beginners to practice without carrying their valuable instrument around. Also those who are in love with Tango and curious about this authentic instrument, this app provides them a chance to experience what it feels like to play the Bandoneon.

The voice recorded for this application is originated from an Alfred Arnold (Doble AA) Bandoneon from the 1930's. While you practice with this application you will both enjoy the sound and appreciate the Bandoneon players who dedicated their lives to Bandoneon. 

Technical Specifications for this Bandoneon Application:

- Switch between right hand (treble) and left hand (bass) keyboard layouts

- Bellow opening and closing button feature. Originally notes will change when open and close the bellow of the Bandoneon.

- 142 Tones Rheinische TonLage starting from Piano's 2nd octave Do and 6th octave Si.

- Showing and Hiding the note layouts for beginners who want to learn to play Bandoneon

- Vibrato Feature: You can vibrate the sound by pressing the notes and Vibrato button at the same time. 

Note: If you do not hear any sound when pressing the notes, you have to be sure that you are pressing exactly on the buttons. If you press near the buttons, you may not hear the sound of the related notes. 

For iPad version of this application, the layout size is the same as the original Bandoneon instrument.

I was using the older version to locate the key names.  But with these new updates it became a a great practice tool when my bandoneon is not around. Great sound of the keys and enough space to place my fingers on the buttons. Totally loved it.

Contrary to the authors opinion that the sound works if the users settings are correct, the only way I can hear the sounds is with an earphone (sound change with buttons on in settings iOS9)

Eine wunderbare App für Bandoneon Anfänger, speziell wenn man sich Tonleitern und Arpeggien links und rechts separat einprägen möchte. Leider bekam ich keine Antwort auf mein mail, um die Korrektur eines Tones zu melden. Das tiefe D, Taste 1/1 in der linken Tastatur, bei gedrücktem Balgen (cerrando), klingt wie ein F - sollte aber wie ein Re/D klingen. Deshalb nur 4 Sterne. Ansonsten super!
Verbesserungsvorschlag: die "onset-time", d.h., die Zeit vom Drücken der Taste bis zum Erklingen des Tones könnte etwas kürzer sein, so kann man auch etwas schneller spielen...

For those of us interested in Tango or Nuevo Tango music, who love the bandoneon and would like to learn a bit more about this strange and beautiful sounding instrument without shelling out thousands to buy an actual one, this app is very informative.  The sound is pretty good, even though it is obviously digitized. 

Seeing how illogical the keyboards are makes me appreciate the master players of this instrument even more. That’s the beauty of this app.  You have to learn 4 different keyboards.  The left and right hand are both different, and the bellows in or out makes each keyboard change too.  This app lets you simulate all of this. You can’t do dynamics or special effects though.

On top of the 4 keyboards is the fact that each keyboard doesn’t lay logically like virtually every other musical instrument on the planet.  For instance, on a piano keyboard, you go from low to high, left to right, and all the notes of the scale are basically in a line.  On the bandoneon, the notes of the scale jump left, right, up down, zig and zag in seemingly random positions.  Wow.

I got this for iPhone and it works well. However the version for iPad won't play sound!

I love the fact that this even exists! It works well, and would be a great learning aid for anyone who is learning the bandonéon (or for repairmen who need an accurate reference.) For those who aren't familiar with the instrument, it's an amazing musical puzzle. I can't wait to borrow another iPad and tape the two together on a box so I can play both sides together!
Also, the instrument featured in the graphics is a classic beautiful example. The keyboard size is very accurate on the iPad.

En general esta muy bien, pero encontre cosas que se pueden mejorar. Por ejemplo,Los botones abrír /cerrar ,  en ipad3, no van muy bien, no siempre responde al cambio. Podrias poner otro botón con las notas en sistema americano?una letra y un número A3. Sería mejor si los botones de control estuvieran en otro sitio donde el tuch no detecte la mano.Cuando viajo por trabajo me llevo el iPad y gracias a tu aplicación puedo estudiar algo. Si estuvieran los botones cerca de las notas más altas en mano derecha, se resolvería el problema.imagino que es tu bandoneón, suena muy bien. Esta bueno que respetes la escala de tamaño de los teclados. Gracias por tu aporte a los que amamos este instrumento. Espero que puedas hacer más mejoras!
