App is not helpful and picks up immense amounts of noise

First time tuning a banjo and couldn’t get it done with this. Had to download a feebie which was much more intuitive. The tuner works on a numeric frequency display and bounces like crazy. Hard to know if I was even going the right direction. 

Too bad I paid for this.
