Such a poor experience, it is basically just a very poor and old mobile website wrapped into a mobile application. I have considered multiple times moving to a different bank and paying more for my home loan just because of how terrible this app is. There is also no instant payments, which has been a normal thing to expect from EVERY bank for years now. Lift your game Bank Of Sydney. ### 3/5 — Face ID and PIN login gone *2024-10-07, version 1.24.0* It’s not any great app. Just the basics. Lately both Face ID and PIN login are gone. I’ve seen worse apps so this one is bearable. ### 1/5 — Worse after upgrade *2024-07-28, version 1.24.0* If you upgraded and face recognition isn’t working; you need to go to settings and re-register your device. If they told me I was meant to do that, it wasn’t a very clear communication. The was always an awful app to use. There been an upgrade but somehow has exactly the same unintuitive interface. Cancelling a recurring direct debit shows you all the regular direct debit info (including the amount) and you’re supposed to press Confirm to cancel. But for all intents and purposes it looks like you’re confirming to transfer. Every time I login, without fail, it will briefly show me an error message, long enough for me to panic, before logging in s normal ### 1/5 — No more Face Recognition *2024-07-17, version 1.24.0* Face Recognition doesn’t work in the latest version:( ### 1/5 — Very basic *2024-07-16, version 1.24.0* I’m perplexed how basic the app is. This includes limited functionality such as downloading statements ### 1/5 — The Worst Update in History *2024-07-13, version 1.24.0* Forced to upgrade to latest version, then couldn’t login. The app now doesn’t enable face recognition to access it. Possibly the worst roll out of an ‘update’ that I’ve have the displeasure of enduring. Ridiculous to think that an app has me considering changing banks, but that is honestly where I’m at. ### 1/5 — Don’t update to 1.24.0 *2024-07-12, version 1.24.0* I updated to 1.24.0 and now can’t even login. It sits there spinning ### 2/5 — Way behind the times *2024-01-31, version 1.23.0* This is one of the worst banking apps I’ve had to use. It’s so far behind the technology of other apps . Would be so helpful to have Face ID or atleast a code to log in.
