The login process is poor and frequently breaks. The UI is utterly terrible, it feels like United puts no effort into this. The shoddy app is one of the reasons I am moving my biz banking somewhere else. ### 1/5 — Worst business bank app *2025-09-30, version 6.0.7692* Mobile app is a headache. Just reset my password after not using the app for six months due to issues logging in only to deal with the same issues. Having a business banking mobile app where you can’t actively monitor business finances has a negative impact on the business account. This is a serious issue. As others say, this is the worst banking app I’ve used. It is absurdly difficult to get to statements that you want to download. The UI makes no sense at all. The app requires an SMS code entirely too frequently. It’s almost like they do not understand how to do security. Even after clicking save info on the home screen I still have to enter my company ID and all of my identifying information. Someone should send it back to 2014. Tiny fonts and limited functions make this seem it was copied from an example app. A recent “update” is limited to a new font and removing access to statements. I’m not sure how anything was improved. Despite three different credentials and Face ID I am still required to enter an SMS code every time I want to login. It’s difficult to understand how this app could get such high ratings…Are the reviews shills? ### 2/5 — Quite Poor for 2024 *2024-07-09* The recent update seems limited to a new font and removing access to statements. I’m not sure how anything was improved. Now it is more tricky to enable Face ID for login. Also lacking are settings inside the app. This this app could hardly be any more bare bones. It works like an app from 2010 not 2024.
