Sometimes working and other times crashing (mostly crashing) for my spouse as well. Lately they’ve added features that have just seemed to break the app. The “message” notifications work somedays and other days I have to click the notification 2-3 times to get it to clear. Same with the “Insights and News” notifications. However, the mobile app is a real letdown. It feels outdated, like something from 2015. It's slow, crashes often, and the overall experience is frustrating. In a time when most banking apps are fast, intuitive, and reliable, this one seriously needs a major update. Why is this so difficult? The app was great. Transactions were separated by date! Unfortunately, in the “bill pay” section, when entering a dollar amount, what you enter is not what’s displayed and it’s a much higher number. If you don’t pay close attention you’ll end up paying a much larger dollar amount than anticipated. I asked my wife if she could try hers and she said she is having the same issue. Also the app has an insight and news tab and leaves red notifications that never clear even if you click on the blog that you have no interest in reading. This app is just seriously awful. Really frustrating that I’ve been with this bank for over 20 years and their technology is stuck in 2002. ### 1/5 — Keeps Crashing *2026-05-15, version 2026.01* Everytime I go to sign in and use face ID, it briefly opens up the account summary screen before crashing. Also, even when Bank 5 sends you a “confirmation” that you have received a Zelle, it isn’t an actual bank confirmation. I’ve had Facebook marketplace deals where the funds bounced back to the buyer hours after Bank 5 sent me a text message confirming that the Zelle came through and would be deposited into my account.
