Here’s why I subscribed and I went to start checking notes It could not properly identify my currency I had to scan it multiple times and it was never the right note and then on the notes for currency it would say cannot find. Which I know were real currencies because I checked them with UV lights and the bill marker. My 2013 bills showed up as 2003, my 2005 bills showed up as 2007. The AI isn’t intelligent enough to have correct information that reflects reality. As a currency collector, it’s been incredibly useful. The app is super easy to use - just snap a picture of banknote, and you get detailed info almost instantly. It’s just perfect. However, I do have a couple of gripes. Some essential features are locked behind a premium plan, which is a bit annoying. I wish the advanced tool were available to everyone, maybe through a one-time purchase instead of a subscription. Also, the app sometime struggles with less common notes, but it seems like the developers are constantly working on improvements. Overall, NoteScan is a fun and educational tool that adds a lot of value to my hobby. Despite the minor issues, I highly recommend it to anyone interested in banknotes.
