Please fix it. ### 3/5 — Mobile App *2025-05-14, version 5.2.0* This app is simple to use and has a very helpful feature - BP Card Pal. Through this feature, you can set up your travel plans for your account(s) instead of calling the branch, setting limitations for transactions and can see your digital card without having to break out your actual debit card. I appreciate the security token requirement when trying to change or view my debit card information. The only downside I have about this app is that if I forgot my password, I will need to call to get assistance in resetting it. ### 4/5 — Strive for Excellence *2025-05-14, version 5.2.0* Convenient way to access my account and make transfers between them. However, working here and seeing their products/services has really shown that they are a great bank that is willing to adapt and innovate. The mobile app is more developed than most apps I’ve had with other banks. I am having difficulty linking my card to my apple wallet though but regardless, everything else is seamless and smooth. I’d recommend they need to make the website as nice as the app. Other than that, great bank and great app. ### 4/5 — Much Improved! *2025-04-28, version 5.2.0* The app has gotten much better than when I first downloaded it. I really like the BP CardPal feature but it doesn’t launch for me half the time. I feel like with time and improvements once it’s up and running as it should it’ll be so awesome for daily life! Balances are seen in real time and is user friendly. Face ID makes the app much easier to access. I am most excited to explore the new features like BP Card Pal, It is very convenient to be able to input travel notices and stop your card yourself when it is misplaced. The only issue I have is when I get locked out of online banking, I have to call for a reset or a temporary password. I do wish for BankPacific to be able to have an account recovery option. ### 4/5 — Review *2025-03-04, version 5.0.2* Whenever I log into the app, first attempt with face ID would always say system error. Had to close and reopen again. Logged in, and it goes through. This happens all the time. Not sure what the problem was but hopefully that’s something they could fix on their end. The UI has improved, making it a stress-free experience with navigation. Accessing the new CardPal within the app is awesome, compared to other banking apps that have a separate app for card control. I’m able to manage my card functions right from the app and put in travel notices on my own. Big win. I no longer have to call into the bank as I normally do. I have not experienced any issues with my 2 step authentication and appreciate the extra security in this day and age. I would however, suggest another way to receive security code such as email or security pin. It does get difficult when traveling and not able to receive call for security code. It is user friendly, convenient and has great features - most especially the new BP Card Pal! Although there were major delays opening it for the first time, once I loaded my card I haven’t encountered any issues and it opens up within seconds. When I had issues logging in, their customer support was very helpful and patient. Friendliest bank I know that makes you feel comfortable and important! GREAT JOB BankPacific! The problem is it will only send a text or call a few numbers. So if you’re off-island and don’t want to pay for roaming, you’re out of luck. Why can’t an email be an option? Why do I have to keep doing it every single time? Why not put an options to opt out??? ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work. Waste of time *2025-01-17, version 5.0.2* I’ve tried many times to get online with this app. Double checked my password. It’s correct. Called support to Unlock to account after several failed log ins. They said the cleared and try again. Still no log in. Locked again. Can’t even get past the code now. I enter the code and it says “invalid code. Code blank”. I’m getting the code but the app won’t accept it. Worst working banking app from all the banks here. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2022-04-01, version 4.7.4* For the past month and a half, I have been trying to change my password due to it expiring. Unfortunately, every time I try, it always gives me a “System Error” message and boots me from the app, forcing me to start all over again…and the cycle continues from there. So now I gotta call in just to get a balance on my account. What I find difficult to do is to add other accounts or update/ change my contact information. These things are easier on the web browser. Being able to tag and mark certain transactions has helped me with tracking purposes. But the best part about this app is BP Cardpal. I was able to disable my card while trying to look for it for 2 days! And having the notification feature every time my card is charged has helped me be aware of how I’m spending my money. I appreciate that and all the tools the app has to offer. I can’t wait to see what the app can do in the future. I get updated info on my account balance, can transfer funds and even make bill payments - all without worry or hassle. If you're a BankPacific customer - the app works just like the online service so very little learning curve.
