Face ID will turn off and/or just not work. The UI is so terribly ugly and outdated. I don’t have enough time to go. ### 1/5 — Worst app. *2020-11-08, version 10.1.0.1* I have use the Providents app for years without a problem.Since the update it has been horrible to use. Since they changed to this app it’s been awful. Hard to navigate views are to small almost looks like a desktop site. Very difficult to visualize, difficult to navigate. No options to “really” customize. It should be more like the customization on the computer. But overall. This is the worst update, unfriendly website I have dealt with. It deserves a negative star Even when you go to the browser and type in Provident bank, go to log in, on the IPad it is not friendly and will not customize like the computer, which it should. Sorry. I can’t log in or even reset my information anymore. When it did work it wasn’t a good experience to begin with. It seems like they are focusing more on their business customers. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — High fees poor service. *2024-09-07* BankProv use to be a great bank. Since they lost millions recklessly investing in cryptocurrency they are clawing back their losses by charging customers high fees. A bank has a fiduciary duty to be responsible with clients money, not gamble it recklessly on crypto. ### 1/5 — The Worst Banking App Ever 🤮 *2024-06-14* SO BAD. The UI is hard to get around, everything is buggy, it signs you out constantly, and even worse, I can't see when anything has been added or withdrawed from my account. What a crappy app. And I can't use my card with Apple Pay!! 🤮🤮 ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with iOS 17 *2023-10-31, version 11.4.1* Stopped working after updating to iOS 17. Will not open. Just a never ending spinner. Update 10/20/23: can’t use with VPN.
