### 3/5 — Great product. Lackluster app

Why didn't they make it carplay compatible. They know it's illegal and unsafe to play with your phone while driving. No one wants to add a non stock screen nowadays. Ive got a beautiful 12" screen on my head unit. Let me use it to control the app!!! Epic fail.

Sometimes it disconnected while driving. Secondly it feels like it doesn’t work because if it does, my car accelerates very smooth and lag free.

The app works, sometimes. It’s a 50/50 chance that the layout and settings will be restored. Sometimes the settings for gauge 2 will restore to gauge 1. The app does not keep separate backups for each gauge. 

Not all settings are backed up. Like alerts and shift light and others. Every time I do an update I have to set up everything again.  It’s a PITA. 

You cannot attach to one gauge and then attach to the second gauge without exiting the app and relaunching. There should be a way to connect without exiting. 

Since Gale is known for the quality of his products I’m surprised he let this app be released in its obviously unfinished condition. It has been updated a few times and these deficiencies have not been addressed yet. I expected better from Banks.

Works in principle.  But it’s a car focused app - make it work on CarPlay.  Also, it doesn’t automatically connect when you pull up the app. Lame, and more fiddling around while driving. 
I suppose both are to upsell to the iDash ….

The Banks app works great.
One improvement opportunity is for the app to automatically reconnect after the vehicle is turned off and then back on.  Other than that, no issues.

The app works well for the options available however it would be nice to change more of the idash/derringer setting within the app. 
Great product though!! Very impressive

I have to restart my iPhone 13 + pro every time after shutting down the car & restarting it. In Oder for the app to work once again!
 It still works with the last setting (thank goodness) but having to restart my phone every restart is not good.
 Other than that, I’m pleased with it.

Excellent App to run my Pedal Monster. All of the info needed is there to run it and it works perfectly. The only downfall I see is that it’s a bit of a battery drain, even when not in use. It’s coming up in my settings as using 10-11% of my iPhone battery, even when not using. If that could be knocked down a little that would be great. It’s definitely not a deal breaker because the app works seamlessly. Also, not sure it can be done or if it could, but to be able to use via CarPlay would be great.
