### 3/5 — Works okay but subscription won’t cancel

*2026-02-27*

The app itself is fine albeit nothing special. Never seems to change what is needed. I agreed to email notifications but even after turning them off in app and also unsubscribing from the emails - they still come constantly.

### 3/5 — Which food bank to choose?

*2023-06-08*

how do I tell which food bank my preferred supermarket supports?

### 4/5 — Useful with notification problems

*2025-05-29*

Useful to see what is needed but they notifications are junk. Set to notify once a week Anna still got three in one day. Maybe it’s per store, but that raises another issue: I only care at the main Tesco’s not all the small expensive local shops that I pass. Also getting an email as well every time!

So keeping installed to check what is required but turning off notifications and emails as just annoying overkill.

### 4/5 — Lovely Idea

*2023-05-02*

I love the idea that you can see what is urgently needed but it would be great if you could have the option to select more than one food bank depending on where you shop.
I do a main shop in one post code so happy to support there but would also like to include my local foodbank too without having to keep changing. Maybe this could be an improvement for the developers to consider as I can imagine people tend to shop in more than one area.

### 4/5 — Useful

*2022-09-04*

Always use this to check what my local food bank actually needs. It seems to update every couple of months but doesn’t always show their latest needed items.
Would be more useful if you could confirm the quantity of any specific item you are donating rather than assuming it’s just the 1 item. I usually bulk buy so would be better to let them know 12 tins are donated rather than just 1 do they can prioritise pick ups.
Would also be better if you can have more than one local foodbank visible rather than having to ‘change’. My mum asks me to check what her foodbank needs and it’s not the same as mine so I have to swap back and forth a lot.

### 4/5 — Option to support in more than one area?

*2022-07-05*

I vary where I donate depending on where I happen to be shopping, which covers more than one area, I can’t see an option to select more than one ( but I’m Very Old)

### 5/5 — Great app!!

*2026-04-11*

Really simple but effective app to help you locate local food banks and immediately see what items they urgently need. Recommend!

### 5/5 — Great app to help you target your support for your local food bank

*2023-12-20*

I use it every week to help me choose items to buy that are ‘most’ needed by our local food bank, also good to mark what you have bought (so the food bank gets an idea of what’s waiting for collection)
One of my favourite apps 💚

### 5/5 — Great app but needs an option for feature requests

*2022-10-02*

This app is great but it needs an option to contact the developer for feature requests such as a printer friendly list as I’m not a fan of shopping with a phone in my hand.

### 5/5 — Thank you for developing this app

*2021-10-19*

Thank you

**Developer response:** You don't actually need to sign up! You can follow your local food bank and get alerts as and when you reach your local collections points as an anonymous user, just click the "no thanks" button when it asks if you want to sign up. But we are a UK organisation and fully GDPR compliant, do not sell data or send out unnecessary communication.
