## What is Baram?

Baram burns the recording's real timestamp into your video: the wall clock, to the second, in the timezone the camera was set to. On DJI Osmo Action footage it also reads the camera's telemetry track and adds G-force to the overlay.

TIMESTAMP
• Time taken from the recording itself, not the system clock
• The camera's own timezone where the file stores it, marked as assumed where it does not
• Files with no creation date are labelled NO TIMECODE rather than guessed at

G-FORCE — DJI OSMO ACTION
• Gravity separated from acceleration
• Fore/aft, lateral and vertical, plus total magnitude
• Live dial, sustained peaks, and hardest single shock
• A trace of the whole recording; drag across it to select a range
• Omitted entirely on footage without motion data, never zeroed

OUTPUT
• Original speed with audio, or timelapse from 4x to 60x
• 24, 30 or 60 fps, at 1080p or 720p draft
• Three overlay styles and three palettes
• Every combination previewed on a real frame from your own footage before rendering

• MP4, MOV and M4V, from any camera or phone
• DJI telemetry read directly from the camera's own track — no ExifTool, ffmpeg or Python
• Proxy files read for identical values at a fraction of the I/O
• Read progress in bytes, throughput and time remaining, measured rather than guessed
