## What is Baratin?

Baratin is a social deduction game where improvisation reigns — but beware, not everyone plays fair.
At the start of each game, one player wakes up as an amnesiac: they know they have a role, but they've forgotten it. Their only way out? Listen, observe, bluff… and sweet-talk the others to survive.
The other players each have secret missions: investigate, eliminate, protect or manipulate. Every round unfolds in short 2-to-10-minute improv scenes, where players act out their characters in original, offbeat scenarios. A cowboy saloon, a corporate dinner, a wedding or a spaceship — there's no shortage of absurd situations to make everyone give themselves away.
Between scenes come the investigation and elimination phases: players vote, accuse, deduce — or lie through their teeth. Manipulation is a fearsome weapon.
Even the amnesiac can win — if they manage to piece their identity back together before the others unmask them.
