I am playing on Hard Mode because I’m expert level on any Gamehouse time management strategy games. I’ve played them all many times. Barbarous is right up there with Delicious and Primrose Lake in terms of being my favorites, but this one has several levels that appear unbeatable to me - achieving 3 stars (or mugs for this game). These are levels 7, 18, and 24. I’ve tried them over and over with using different strategies, and this is frustrating! It’s why the game only receives 4 stars in my opinion. ### 4/5 — Like game but glitch level 19 *2023-11-29, version 0.2* I love these games… have played every one of them. 19 is the only level that I cannot find the rat and I’ve tried many times. Finally I checked the walkthrough and found that the part of the screen where the rat pops up cannot be seen on my screen. It is cut off and I see I am not the only one. Once this is fixed it will be 5 stars. ### 5/5 — Happily playing… *2023-11-16, version 0.2* I’m always excited to see that GameHouse has released a new game. This is another hit in my opinion. The storyline is engaging enough to where you want to follow along with the characters. Right now I am only about 6 games in and I can already tell that this will become another one of my favorite games! My only critique is the lack of the ability to upgrade items. That is always a great addition to their other games and is not only a visual perk but a perk with benefits like increasing the customer’s patience or adding more of a tip. No fix to this issue and worse the review - because it’s negative - is not posted on the game. Too bad because I have bedn a fan of Gamehouse games since the first Emily. Over a month later still no fix on level 19 ### 1/5 — Glitch *2023-11-20, version 0.2* In the beginning of the game you are told that a customer has arrived and you are instructed to tap the dessert and it is highlighted. I can see an animal appear to the right but by the time I am instructed to pet the animal the animal is gone. I am unable to continue with the game. I can’t play the game. It won’t let me go further in the game without petting the animal. I thought it was the WiFi connection but it isn’t . It is disappointing that I can’t play. My 10.2 inch screen just doesn’t cut it! My 8th Gen IPad (2020] is so geriatric (old) that I cannot see the rat popping up behind the water barrel. I know this, because I watched a YouTube video of someone playing this very Level and you can see it. On my screen there is no water barrel to the far right, the screen stops at the Beer Keg! I bet if I had an iPad Pro I could see it! So could you please sort this out, because I really like this game series, I’ve played the other two and I thought they were great. Or only make this game playable to people with a bigger screen. ### 3/5 — Glitch on Level 19 *2023-12-01, version 0.2* I’m playing on the iPad version of the game. On level 19 I am unable to click on the rat because it is offscreen. After watching a walkthrough online it shows the rat is to the right of the stairs. On my screen the stairs are cutoff and I am unable to view anything past this point. I am unable to finish all of the achievements because I can’t click in the rat. The annoying squeaks continue thru the level, but THERE IS NO MOUSE! But they all serve food I think the Barbarous game development team should come up with room keys for the inn so that when guest come from long journey is to drunk to go home they could get a room maybe if Emrys Tavern gets huge maybe he could be the first Barbarian to have a hotel inn where he give rooms for his guest and pays fees?. But I can’t wait for the last two games in this series collection Barbarous 4 and Barbarous 5! ### 5/5 — Awesome game! *2023-11-19, version 0.2* I absolute love these Emyr the Barbarian games! Everything about them is adorable: the characters, the plots, the graphics, the gameplay, and especially all the references to our favorite fantasy worlds like Witcher and even Highlander! Love it! The gameplay was smooth with zero glitches, all the minigames worked once you got the hang of them, and the levels were just hard enough to make you work a little to reach three stars but not too hard to make it frustrating. They are just plain fun to play and, of course, you can’t stop until you make sure Emyr and company are all OK! Great job on this one, developers, as well as the first two!
