BARBERHERO OPPORTUNITIES
Barbershops and hybrid providers can publish self-employed cover opportunities. Independent professionals can browse and apply for free.

• Welcome offer: the first opportunity for a verified barbershop costs £9.99; future opportunities cost £19.99
• Include up to 7 dates and remain active for 30 days or until filled
• If no suitable application is received within 72 hours, an eligible free repost credit is provided
• Set applicant limits, review profiles, call or chat before selecting a professional
• Professionals apply for free and keep 100% of the agreed earnings
• The shop pays the professional directly after the shift; BarberHero does not deduct commission from the professional's agreed pay

Opportunities are direct self-employed contractor arrangements between the shop and professional, not employment by BarberHero. Each party remains responsible for agreeing the engagement and meeting applicable legal, tax, insurance, safety and right-to-work obligations.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-25

BarberHero Pro 1.1.0 is a major update.

• New onboarding for mobile barbers, barbershops and hybrid providers.
• Provider type can be updated in Settings.
• Add barbershop team members and manage individual working hours.
• Improved Today screen with a live customer-map preview and profile photo.
• On My Way no longer uses a completion verification code.
• New earnings views for daily, weekly, monthly and yearly totals.
• New BarberHero Opportunities: shops can publish self-employed cover for up to 7 dates; professionals apply free and keep 100% of agreed earnings.
• Welcome publication price of £9.99 for a verified shop's first opportunity, then £19.99.
• Applicant limits, distance filters, candidate profiles, calling and in-app chat.
• Improved opportunity payments and duplicate prevention.
• Improved booking management, maps, stability and push notifications.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-04

Keep the job when the time doesn't work.

• New "Request a new time" - instead of declining a booking, offer your customer up to 3 alternative slots and keep the work.
• Times are drawn from your own live availability, so you can only ever offer slots you can actually work.
• Add a short note explaining why, so it doesn't read like an automated message.
• Customers can accept, suggest a different time back, or cancel - and you can respond to their suggestions too.
• Every booking shows if its time has been changed, and what it was originally.

Also in this update: smaller design and reliability improvements.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-07-22

• You can now set your working hours as part of sign-up - so as soon as your application is approved, you're ready to accept bookings right away.
• Minor improvements and bug fixes.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-07-17

- Platform fee no longer shown as a deduction in your earnings history (it's paid by the customer, not you)
- Chats with a returning customer now stay in one conversation instead of a new one per booking
- Fixed a timezone edge case affecting available time slots

### 1.0 — 2026-06-25

No release notes.
