Cannot do anything without upgrading.

Perhaps this app needs to be opened in Barcelona to work? It does nothing here at home when trying to use the free version: no results for any Searches. I “upgraded” to the paid version, and it still doesn’t search. Doesn’t give a Random Item; doesn’t do a thing.

Crashes when I tap some headings. No functioning at home! Maybe when in Barcelona?

Edited to add/change:

I contacted the developers and was told there was a problem, since fixed, with dowloading the data. I redownloaded and now see all the information! Now that I have it, I will try to return and give more information on it’s utility.

In the meantime, I apologize for giving a bad review before having all the inside knowledge!

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. It’s really appreciated. As you say in your review, there was a temporary issue affecting our server that prevented apps to download contents. It’s fixed now. Thanks for pointing this issue out!

### 5/5 — Una guía excelente que te hace ahorrar dinero

Recién llegada del puente que he pasado en Barcelona, he de decir que esta aplicación es más que una guía, es una auténtica caja llena de tesoros. Que descubre múltiples edificios bellísimos a la vuelta de la esquina de la Casa Batlló, La Pedrera o la Sagrada Familia y que habríamos dejado pasar si no los hubiésemos descubierto con esta guía. La aplicación consiste en fichas explicativas llenas de anécdotas, historias curiosas y datos interesantes. Las imágenes son impresionantes y te permiten ver y observar detalles en los que a simple vista no te fijarías. 

Por otra parte, las rutas propuestas pueden configurarse para crear tus propias rutas según el tiempo que tengas o tus intereses. La app te ofrece el precio de las entradas, los horarios de apertura y te indica lugares guays para comer o tomar algo en las cercanías de los monumentos. 

Pero lo mejor son los consejos para ahorrar en la visita: compra online, llegar antes de que pongan los accesos al Parque Guell, entra en una tienda para ver la parte de atrás gratis de la Casa de los huesos... una verdadera guía en tu bolsillo. Merece la pena comprarla.

Very complete and useful. It’s full of images that reveal al the details of the outstanding works of Gaudi. Worth every penny. Love it.
