The idea of scanning real-world barcodes to discover and battle creatures turns everyday stuff into part of the game, which makes it weirdly addictive — I’ve caught myself scanning random items just to see what shows up. The battles have enough strategy to keep things interesting without being overwhelming, and collecting new beasts is genuinely satisfying. It scratches that classic monster-collecting itch but with its own twist. The progression feels rewarding, and it’s clear a lot of care went into the design.
