## What is Barcode Dungeon?

[Every barcode around you becomes your adventure]

Scan QR codes or product barcodes — characters and gear are generated deterministically. Same code, same hero. Always.

■ Core Loop
· QR code → Companion (character)
· Product barcode → Gear (weapon or armor)
· Bring up to 3 companions on dungeon expeditions (progress even when the app is closed)
· Auto-battle earns Gold and EXP

■ Gacha & Limit Break (latest update)
· Mythic Gacha: spend Gold to pull T7–T10 legendary gear from world mythology
· Limit Break: re-scan the same barcode daily → spend Gold to raise star level (no cap)
· Full Scan Set (barcode weapon + armor): Attack +15%
· Full Mythic Set (gacha weapon + armor): Gold earned +20%

■ Determinism & Permanence
"Same barcode = same hero, forever." Even if the app is gone, your barcode brings back the same companion. Like a charm.

■ Deep Systems
· Prestige & Seals: reincarnate when your hero reaches the required level (scales up with each prestige) for permanent bonuses + stackable seals (Attack / Gold / Soul)
· Collection Multiplier: more gear and monsters discovered = stronger party
· ~3,000 monster species codex
· T1–T10 gear (history of technology → world mythology)
· Five Elements, race bonuses, prefix hack & slash

Bug fix. Fixed an issue where expeditions always showed "Turned back" even when the party reached the target floor. Reaching your goal now correctly shows as a success.

### 3.0 — 2026-07-27

Major Update! New content unlocks from Run 2 onwards.

■ Reincarnation
Reach the required level to reincarnate. Keep allies, gear, and souls —
and stack one "Past Life Seal" (permanent bonus) with each new run.

■ QR Hero Summon
Clear the final dungeon to reincarnate into your very own hero from 5 QR codes.
With unique traits like Midas, Berserker, and Prodigy,
your hero grows differently from regular allies.

■ Boss Events
From Run 2+, ranked Bosses appear in dungeons.
Send your party on a Boss Expedition — win rate scales with your level
vs. the dungeon's recommended level.
Defeat a Boss to claim legendary gear named after it!

■ Fusion System
Fuse characters to enhance their level (max 10).
Fuse weapons to raise their Tier. Push your collection beyond its limits.

■ Other
You can now fully delete your game data from Settings.

Reflecting player feedback.

■ Game Balance Adjustments
Dungeon difficulty, EXP gain, and Gold rewards have been rebalanced
for a smoother experience.

■ Party Roles and Equipment Effects Clarified
Defenders help your party reach deeper floors safely. Healers reduce
the chance of wipeout. Rarity, Weapon Tier, and roles now visibly
affect expedition outcomes.

■ Tavern & Equipment Screens Reorganized
Standby members are now grouped by Rarity; weapons are grouped
by Tier — easier to manage at a glance.

### 2.3 — 2026-07-16

The scanner has been recalibrated — more true forms are now revealed.

■ 6-Star Appearance Rate Greatly Increased
The chance of encountering a 6-Star companion via camera QR scan has been
significantly boosted. Legendary allies are now far easier to find.

■ "Awakening" System Unlocked
Spend 100 Souls to awaken a companion from their card.
An awakened companion gains power equivalent to 6-Star.

■ Special Reveal on First Launch
If any of your companions have been revealed as 6-Star by this update,
the scanner will announce their names when you open the app.

■ Training Ground Rebalanced
The stronger your party becomes, the easier the Training Ground gets.
Growth now feels more rewarding.
