However, the confirmation beep that sounds each time a barcode is scanned is deeply irritating and I can’t seem to find a way to switch it off? When working long shifts taking inventory it’s very frustrating that the app prevents you from simultaneously listening to music on your phone (because of the beep sound). Is there a way to switch it off? ### 2/5 — Monthly fee *2018-07-19, version 5.0.1* This app was desirable with a flat fee. We developed apps to use it in our organization and intended to buy many additional copies. And now suddenly, a monthly fee subscription model -- for an app that we needed no changes to. The developer is very fast to respond to any questions I have had, and continuously supports his application. Barcode Scan to Web has been instrumental in the success of one of my ongoing projects. No real utility as a barcode reader in situation where you might need to login first and then input a barcode. An error pops up every other scan and it doesn’t go away. Needs to be fixed ### 1/5 — Horrible *2019-04-17, version 5.1.4* It was good before enforcing https and even that doesn’t work. Don’t force us, give us the choice. I was so happy and recommending it to a client to purchase and install on multiple devices but I am now surprised at how none functional this is. Now Berry wings have added an update so that those who have an iPhone now have to pay for an expensive subscription that our run club can’t afford. How is it fair that if you pay for the app you have to it for subscription too? We would never of bought the app if we knew you were changing to a subscription model. Totally rubbish. By the way we have over 25 users in our club! It’s a joke. You have to pay the subscription fee for every device that uses it. This app requires you to know JavaScript and HTML programming to really get any use out of it. Ya, you can set home page to google, and have it scan it to the google web site, but why spend $2.99 to do that. Any thing beyond that's requires programming knowledge to use. Sure would be nice to know that up front!!! The flexibility of this tool is what makes it so powerful. It can literally be used for anything. I thought it couldn’t get any better, but then I ran into a user error on my part and discovered this app also comes with the fastest and best Customer Service I have ever worked with. Anyone struggling with growth management, inventory management, or just on the fence in general, this app is the answer. There’s 1 bad thing about it and that is that I didn’t find it sooner! I downloaded the app and began researching how to do it. Andy was great! I sent him several emails and he walked me through the process and sent me helpful videos. It works! Now we’re trying to implement it school wide. We have multiple clients using scan to web without any issues. Moreover support is very quick and helpful. Recently we have unique issue with usps scans and developer went to the extent of verifying, testing and releasing a update to fix it. They are always responsive to any questions i ask on behalf of our clients. ### 5/5 — Scan to Web FTW! *2018-03-20, version 4.3.3* I started using Barcode Scan to Web a few years ago when developing a home grown inventory system for tracking groceries. It works flawlessly with Gsuite (Forms, Sheets) and scan barcodes and QR codes flawlessly...not to mention lightning fast. The developer is super responsive to questions and feedback and cares deeply about the user experience. I cannot speak highly enough of this tool. If you are in need of a tool that can scan barcodes and or QR codes, this is a must!!! ### 5/5 — Excellent app! *2018-02-08, version 4.2.6* We have used it for a few years to do our inventory every few months. ### 5/5 — Works as I'd hoped it would. *2017-03-05, version 4.2.5* I had a approximate 200 device inventory to get done. Each device has a factory barcode, a company property barcode and a barcode for the facility it's in. So three scans per device pulse a couple of "notes" fields. Years past it was done with a laptop and USB barcode scanner. Last year I lightened my load by swapping the laptop with a ChromeBook. Helped but not best. This year I used my iPhone and this app pushing results right to a Google Sheet. Worked as well as I could have hoped. The app did everything I expected and had a few pleasant surprises in it. Yep, I'm very pleased with this app. ### 5/5 — Barcode neophyte *2017-03-02, version 4.2.5* These guys are very responsive. With their help, we figured out a way to scan barcodes effortlessly to google sheets with only 1 button push between scans. The only thing better than the app is how quickly they respond with support to clarify questions.
