## What is Bare Bones QR Code Generator?

Bare Bones QR makes QR codes.

That’s it.

Pick what kind of QR code you want, fill in the fields, and there’s your code. Save it, share it, print it, or do whatever you were going to do before somebody decided QR codes needed to become a subscription service.

Bare Bones QR supports the normal stuff:

• URLs
• Plain text
• Wi-Fi networks
• Contact cards
• Email
• Phone numbers
• SMS messages

There’s no account to create.

There’s no subscription.

There’s no dashboard, campaign manager, analytics platform, code library, social network, or premium tier.

Your QR codes are generated on your device. Bare Bones QR doesn’t need a backend server to do its job, and it doesn’t send your QR code contents off somewhere to be stored.

That means your Wi-Fi password, contact information, URLs, phone numbers, and whatever else you enter stay on your device unless you choose to share the QR code yourself.

Why?

Because QR codes are not complicated.

You put some information in. A square picture comes out. Somebody points a camera at it later.

That should not require an account, an ongoing relationship with a software company, or a recurring monthly payment.

Bare Bones QR is deliberately small software that does one simple job well.
