## What is Barista.IQ?

Good espresso comes down to small adjustments, and it's easy to lose track of what you changed. Barista.IQ keeps that straight for you.

Pull a shot, note the dose, yield and time, and say how it tasted. You get one clear thing to try next — grind a little finer, ease off the dose, or pull it shorter. When a shot finally tastes right, save it as the reference for that bean so you're not starting from zero with the next bag.

Every shot is tied to a bean, so you build up a picture of what each roast actually likes. The app also keeps an eye on how long a bean has been resting since roast and tells you when it's hitting its sweet spot — then takes that into account when it suggests your next move.

Along the way you can:
- Track dose, yield, time, temperature and grind
- Time the shot with the built-in timer
- Rate each shot and keep your own tasting notes
- Set your usual dose, yield and target ratio once and have them ready every time
- Look back over your whole history, grouped by day

Everything stays on your iPhone. No account to set up, nothing tracked, no ads, no servers. Delete the app and your data goes with it.
