There is no way to remove it once they have it. I made this mistake and INSTANTLY regretted it with 13 missed calls, 9 texts, 5 emails all in a span of 2 minutes. You cannot remove your phone number or account, any updates to the number require verification. No option to delete your account. **Developer response:** We're sorry to hear about your experience. Two separate roofers disappeared from earth after they messed with my roof and Bark customer service couldn’t help me at all. Unverified and unvetted random cowboys, who easily manipulated Bark and me. There is no protection for the customer at all. I’m deleting the app ### 1/5 — All bark and no bite! SCAM and money pit *2024-09-24* Just don't – look at their BBB and Trustpilot reviews – we had 60 "verified leads "and hundreds upon hundreds if not thousands dollars later not a single one came through. We have excellent reviews, 20 years of experience, fully filled out profile, we followed up with 'leads' immediately via text, email and phone calls – no response from these alleged verified leads. They'll give you a refund here or there but a case study is over. It's a scam. The leads were not real, the emails were fake or just totally unresponsive. I don't know how they could call a verified lead, verified if they haven't personally spoken to them, themselves. Anybody who fills out a request is not necessarily serious either. Clearly. We also saw the leads emails come in and a lot of them just duplicates, but with different names or contact info. Save your time and money and look elsewhere . Your feedback is important to us, and we’re here to help. ### 1/5 — They delete reviews about fraudulent agent *2024-08-20, version 3.0.24* Unfortunately we used Bark to find a gardener, who contacted us immediately and we agreed for a work. He come and destroyed our glass door, and said he will fix. He never come back , neither fixed the door or cleaned the mess. He blocked my husband number. We had to cancel our party in the garden and deal with the situation without Bark support. My husband wrote a honest review on Bark about this agent. We were surprised and shocked, that they deleted the review without explanation. In the end we spent £500, to fix the door. The garden job was not done, on top of the stress and the disappointment. Bark decided to delete our review and suspend our account It means that their agents are not as they seem on the website. That shows that the reviews are not genuine and neither honest We are so disappointed and will never use this app or website again or recommend to anyone I am thinking about doing a TikTok about this to raise awareness. ### 1/5 — Scam app *2024-06-04, version 3.0.20* Very unprofessional people even can be here not verified professional better use google ### 1/5 — Not good *2019-11-15, version 1.0* Just bad. This company is charging small businesses outrageous prices just to get in contact with you. Say you want a caterer for your event and you post on here. That caterer is required to spend in upwards of $60 just to get your contact information.
