The updated way of moving the dogs stinks. Old version was 5-stars. ### 3/5 — Fun but sometimes unplayable. *2020-06-10, version 1.6.3* When I first started up the game it looked extremely fun and I’d finally have something to play that wouldn’t bore me the next second but as I continue through I get less and less interested as it is very difficult to actually play and sometimes even get into a game. Every time I want to start a match it boots me out back to the menu screen. There are times where it does in fact let me play but thats very rare. I thought you needed a stable connection to play but apparently other people are experiencing this too. It just makes it completely unplayable. That’s all I really have an issue about with this game but I’ll keep playing in case things change. Apologies if this explanation made little to no sense I'm tryin’ my best here haha. :’) **Developer response:** Thanks for the review. Hilarious and cute but very buggy *2020-04-14, version 1.5.5* First let me just say the art in this game is truly amazing. The music too. Thanks for using different music in each park, some funny pop culture references, and really great pixel-block art on everything. Really appreciate the details!! :) thanks for also making it all cosmetic. It’s nice to play a game about skill and not money spent. Now for the bad... The app crashes (iPhone 7, latest iOS) at least 2 times a day for me when playing for at least 30 mins. The ads don’t come up sometimes and so it doesn’t let you open an add for more money Sometimes in-game I can’t pee on a tree (network issue?) Sometimes the challenges don’t pick up on the fact I did something required Sometimes the scores are shown out of order (like the game can’t do math and doesn’t know how to show them largest to small) Sometimes there is a tie but the players tied are ranked one over the other anyway. It would be great if you could designate what is a bot and what is a live player. I definitely notice the bots are pretty mean. Regular players are clueless sometimes and just run around and don’t actually progress. It would be nice if you could put a bot indicator like “bot” or even a robot emoji if you need to, next to the bot player name when it joins the game. It would be nice if you could have, in addition to tutorial mode, a quick explanation of what the bone is (finally figured it out) and how trees work... if I fill it up past full the circle fills again but if you fill too much it goes back to empty. Graphics were cute, gameplay seemed simple enough but funny and fun after the tutorial but that’s about where the fun ends. Every time I start a game with other players it boots me out back to the main menu! I tried force closing the app. Played in data instead of internet, back to internet. Nada. The graphics are really cute and the whole concept of the game is true to life knowing the behavior of dogs. The only thing I think I’d like to see in a future update is when your dog goes to drink water, and then goes to a tree, the tree doesn’t always turn your dogs color and your dog has to go back to drinking water and hope no other dog gets your tree before you can go back and finish owning your tree. I don’t quite understand the full details of the game. What does it mean when your dog’s pee turns the color of another dog.? Those things I mentioned makes my dog’s score really low. Those are not in any way take away from the genius behind this game. It’s still a five star game. Please continue to spend the time you have in making this game great. **Developer response:** Hey! Then I happened to stumble upon this. Then one day, it, well, disappeared. Just lost it from my Home Screen, and I couldn’t remember the name to redownload. Then, after I got my phone, I found it. In all it’s glory. I downloaded it, loaded it up, and boom. Black screen. Just 20 seconds of a black screen. After that, the game crashes. So yeah, I can’t play this long lost gem after finding it again. I’ve reinstalled it, I’ve restarted my iPhone 12, nothing. Very much sticks out of the crowd of millions of games. Just because. There’s a lot of different dog parks ( kinda almost like lobbies? ) and the games pretty unknown. So if I was one of the devs. Going in a different lobby and playing still sets u with people playing from other dog parks. And the graphic change is only for the player playing from a dog park. I’m not sure if this is already in the game. But making sure. I would also like different game modes ( when the game is more popular ) like a reverse mode where the fountain is a tree ( and works/acts like one to ) and the trees are fountains ( that work like fountains ) these are all just ideas.
