## What is BarkGuard?

Leaving your dog home alone is hard. Wondering if they are sleeping, anxious, or barking at every passing car shouldn't be.

BarkGuard connects to your existing Ring camera and quietly watches over your dog throughout the day. When something happens, it doesn't just send a generic motion alert — it tells you what your dog is doing and why.

KEY FEATURES

• Live state at a glance — Resting peacefully / Active right now / Awake.
• Smart alerts that mean something — BarkGuard's AI tells you Rex is reacting to a person at the door or Just a passing car, Rex is calm.
• Spot patterns that matter — alert moments (likely barking bursts), peak active hours, sleep cycles.
• Visual context — see the snapshot from the moment it happened. Stored privately for 30 days, never shared.
• No new hardware. Works with the Ring camera you already own.

PRIVACY FIRST

We do not record audio. Snapshots are stored encrypted in the EU for 30 days, then auto-deleted. We never sell your data.

REQUIREMENTS

• An active Ring camera or Ring Doorbell
• A Ring account
• A BarkGuard account (managed through the Ring app)

Push notifications now arrive reliably. Unusual activity alerts now notify you when your dog’s routine changes. Updated the launch screen to the current BarkGuard artwork.

No changes to the app itself in this release.

You now stay signed in on every device. Signing in on your phone no longer signs you out of the web dashboard, and the app remembers you between visits.

The sign-in screen now shows the BarkGuard app icon.
