Barkway is your pocket guide to the trees around you. Explore curated tree walks at universities, parks, and neighborhoods — with real photos, fun facts, and turn-by-turn navigation to every tree along the route.

Browse a map of guided tree walks in your area. Each walk includes distance, duration, difficulty level, and a preview of the trees you'll encounter. Get driving directions to any walk's starting point with one tap.

WALK AND LEARN
Follow numbered routes through campus arboretums and neighborhood streets. Every stop features a real photo of the tree, its common and scientific name, botanical details, ecological importance, and engaging fun facts. Toggle Kid Mode for younger explorers — simpler language, playful descriptions, and a fresh way to experience nature as a family.

KNOW YOUR TREES
Dive deep into each species with detailed profiles covering taxonomy, origin, water needs, maximum height, and why the tree matters to its ecosystem. From native California oaks to ornamental jacarandas, there's always something new to learn.
