When I receive an event notification I click on it right away and by the time the app loads and I get in to claim that event, it has already been taken. This has happened to me 10 times more or less. Which is really frustrating. I really dislike how at the bottom the last event is partially hidden by the menu bar& when I try to scroll to see better, it automatically hides back up. There’s so much information from the bar company thrown at us, to ensure everything is detailed and everyone is on the same page, but the part of what is needed for this event on the second page feels hidden with all the words and paragraphs from this company. Make it more distinguishable would be appreciated. ### 1/5 — Notifications don’t work, customer support team doesn’t care. *2026-07-09* Notifications seems to be the issue with everybody and they have yet to fix that bug. We don’t receive a notification until AFTER the gig has already been filled. Not in real time. The only way I was able to finally book a gig was when they personally sent me a text message. I recommend everybody Download GigPro, they’re much easier to work with, payouts are daily, and tips are usually accepted for bartenders (not servers). Notifications are in real time and they have an actual supportive support team. ### 1/5 — Notifications *2026-05-22* Notifications don’t work. Nothing done to fix it. ### 1/5 — Frustrating *2025-11-07* With all the updates that have occurred I still don’t get notifications for jobs in my area. Quite frustrating that I can never pick up shifts ### 1/5 — Horrible app function *2025-09-29* I cannot stand this app. I still use it but no matter how many times I change the settings I do not get notifications for events. There are a lot of events in my area, but I have to open and check the app several times a day and most of the events get snatched up quickly. So clearly other people are getting notified of shifts. It’s very frustrating. ### 1/5 — No notifications *2025-06-15* I used the app for a few months. It’s a joke, and you’re offered low pay. 1- no notifications for events in your area. You must constantly check the app for a job, all day, every day. 2- $100 pay, for no tip jar is low pay when the job is 30 miles from you. 3- most jobs involve stopping, to bring 40+ pounds of ice, soda, juice, fruit, mixers, cups, napkins, etc Summery: you’ll respond to a last minute job, stop to fill your car with supplies, submit reimbursement, mileage. Get paid $100 to work a 6 hour party, when BarMasters is getting $600-$1000 from your labor. No thanks ### 1/5 — Notifications *2025-03-15* I use to get notifications when there was a job to claim but not anymore! It’s unfair I have to go into the app to see if there is a job 😡 ### 1/5 — Poorly run? *2025-01-02* Submitted my information months ago and have gotten no response or approval to “work” for them. Even sent a follow up email. I like the idea to pick up bartending gigs but have yet to experience what the app is meant to offer. If you’re in need of something reliable and not just a good idea, look elsewhere. Will be deleting the app. ### 1/5 — Notifications don’t work anymore. Impossible to get gigs. *2024-10-14* If you are signed up to be a bartender, this app does not work at all. Push notifications don’t work, so there’s no way to actually get a gig unless you watch the app whole day. Going to android doesn’t help, both platforms are broken. The previous version worked fine, please roll back to it! ### 2/5 — Push notifications don't work, events *2025-01-30* I've been using this app for ~4 months now and the push notifications have never worked to alert me for new events. I've had to open the app every few hours to see if it was updated. More recently, the events don't show up at all and if they do, they are already claimed, even if I had just checked the app minutes or hours before.
