Barnið helps parents and caregivers track a baby's day — and share it with each other in real time. Log a feed, a nap, or a nappy change in one tap. Everything syncs instantly to every guardian on the account, so you never have to ask "when did he last eat?" or "how long has she been sleeping?" KEY FEATURES - One-tap logging for feeding, sleep, and nappy changes - Real-time sync between parents and caregivers — everyone sees the same up-to-date picture - Breastfeeding side memory — Barnið remembers which side you used last, so you don't have to - Sleep Time predictions — a suggested next nap window based on your baby's age and recent patterns - Live Activity sleep timer, visible right on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island - Appointment tracking with visit reports you can share with your pediatrician - Support for multiple babies and multiple guardians on one account Barnið Premium unlocks appointments, Sleep Time predictions, and sharing with more than two guardians, with a free trial included. Barnið is built for parents who are tired of texting "did you feed her yet?" back and forth — one shared, always-current record for the whole family. So you know when to let the other parent know. • Expecting? If your baby isn't born yet, you can now set a due date in Settings and get the countdown, partner invite and prenatal appointments – free until the birth. • Sleep Time: see what the next-nap prediction looks like before trying Premium. • Try Premium free for 14 days. • Various fixes and improvements. ### 1.2.1 — 2026-09-29 - Design overhaul across the app: - new sheets, fields and pickers - the redesigned "when" card for picking dates and times - Settings reorganised into sections - better contrast and larger text sizes that no longer break words - Babies without a name yet: you can add a baby before naming them and name them later. - Monthly birthday cards you can share, and a "longest night's sleep" moment. - Your name at sign-up: it's pre-filled from your account, and accounts without a name get asked once. - Medicine and vitamins (Lyf og vítamín): - Tick off vitamin D and fish oil on the Today card, see who gave each dose, and undo it. - Log medicine, including as-needed doses. It shows when the last dose was given and when the gap you entered has passed. - Courses with a set number of days ("Dagur 3 af 7"). - Reminders, including several times a day, with quiet hours (Premium). - A new Lyf tile on Home, with management and history in Settings. - A medicine section in the doctor report. - Fixes: - The Sleep Time card no longer splits words at large text sizes. - The suggestion card on Home no longer gets cut off on iPhone SE. - Dates now read "sept.", "mars", "júní" and so on. ### 1.1.1 — 2026-09-25 Barnið in your language, everywhere The whole app now follows the language you chose — including Settings, the home screen, appointments and the calendar, the doctor's report, notifications and the Lock Screen. Dates, weekdays and durations follow it too. Fixes • The Stop button on the Lock Screen sometimes did nothing. Fixed. • An old session that was never stopped could reappear on the Lock Screen every time you opened the app. Fixed. • The baby's name could shrink to "···" on the Lock Screen. It now always shows in full. • With your phone in Dark Mode, text fields turned black and you couldn't see what you typed. Fixed. • "Share with a partner" sometimes opened an empty screen. Fixed. • Signing in to an existing account could ask you to create your baby again. Fixed. ### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-22 Feeds on your Lock Screen A feed in progress now appears on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, just like sleep does — with the time elapsed and which side you're on. Stop it without opening the app. New on the home screen • Barnið remembers which breast you fed from last and suggests the other one next. One tap starts it. • Much clearer what's happening right now — a feed or sleep in progress stands out, with a live timer. Better logging after the fact • Set a sleep's start time and duration with a scroll wheel when you log it later. The quick buttons (10, 15, 30 min) are still there. • "Mixed" and "Dry" are gone from nappy changes. Existing entries are unaffected. Fixes • Stopping a sleep sometimes left the Lock Screen counting forever. Fixed. • A session long finished could still claim to be in progress. Fixed. • Stronger contrast on every primary button, so labels stay readable in sunlight and for anyone who needs the extra definition. ### 1.0 — 2026-09-12 No release notes. ## Apps similar to Barnið | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Vigdís: Kids Visual Schedule](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/vigdis-kids-visual-schedule/id6760764940) | — | Free | Lifestyle | | [Jólasveinar](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/jolasveinar/id1320667824) | 5.0 (1) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Sinna](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/sinna/id6742742928) | 5.0 (1) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Hómer](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/homer/id6739214905) | — | Free | Lifestyle | | [ITS Macros](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/its-macros/id1625863103) | — | Free | Lifestyle | | [Pare - Beat Nicotine](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/pare-beat-nicotine/id6587550211) | 5.0 (1) | Free | Lifestyle | --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
