When I got a new phone Xr it does not work. I uninstalled and tried again. Nothing works ! When I select a map the app closes completely. It was working gear with old phone. ### 2/5 — Not Finished *2020-04-26, version 5.96.4* The parts of the app that work are great, but many of the features of the app don’t work / crash the app. I can’t stand apps that are full of bugs. Some of the terminology is tough to understand, refuges for example, (which doesn’t seem to work right) and a couple of the sections still have advertisements when you pay for the advertisement free version ($4.99 US). Like the weather link which has link to NOAH advisories for your location. Works best when keeping app running in background for GPS locale/altitude functions. Really like SOS Feature which brings up pre-populated text of GPS co-ordinates and help request. Pro version is definitely worth the $!!! ### 3/5 — GPS/Alt *2016-10-21, version 4.40* Bought this because it said it would work off GPS, and did not need service to work. That is not the case for me ... iPhone 6 ### 4/5 — Needs improvement *2016-07-26, version 4.40* A great app that has the potential to corner the gps market with a few revisions. I find a couple of minor flaws that should be fixed in an app that you pay for. I'd pay 10x the price for a few revisions. 1. You can't set your default units in the app - defaults to meters 2. You can't change the barometric display - you get kPa that's it 3. Needs to function when you are not connected to WiFi 4. Put the compass in the foreground on downloadable maps from US govt sources ### 3/5 — Good app waiting to become great *2016-07-18, version 4.40* Good overall. Altimeter is 5 star The multifunction app needs two improvements: Most important is Display latitude and longitude in all decimal format. Second is the pedometer function that only counts all steps each 24 hours. Keep that function but allow to count steps in an individual walk while still adding those steps to a daily count. ie Individual trip reset to zero then count til user marks end of the exercise event. ### 4/5 — Interesting App *2016-07-15, version 4.40* Got it out of curiosity. Now it says I’m at 1698 feet in elevation. I know for a fact our house is at 5550 feet in elevation. ### 1/5 — Dead app *2024-05-29* I've used this app (paid version) for several years, but it no longer works. Sadly, like many other apps that I have paid for, the updates have not kept up with technology.
