Now it feels as if the developer has just left this app to die. It desperately needs an update as the app only opens properly 1 out of 10 times. I’ve done the uninstall and reinstall trick, and restarting of the phone but the problem still persists. I guess I’ll be looking for a new weather app soon! ### 3/5 — Important notifications. *2023-08-04, version 6.8.34* I like all the notifications that I get with this app. This is the only app that sends notifications for hail. Where else are you going to find a weather app that notifies you of hail? However there’s something very important that is missing with the notifications. The answer is air quality alerts. This app is called critical weather. I’m very disappointed. ### 2/5 — Forecasts often wrong. *2020-07-02, version 6.4.40* The radar usually works well, but the forecast is wrong more often than not. ### 4/5 — Awesome app! *2020-06-22, version 6.4.40* This is a awesome app but it needs a feature that allows users to control the weather map animation speed because after the most recent update the weather map animation speed is so fast that I can’t even see everything that is being animated, for example the lightning strikes are animated so fast they are just a blur and there’s no time to see where each strike occurred so I’m giving this app only 4 stars unless a way to control the weather map animation speed is added. ### 3/5 — More rule based alert selection needed *2019-06-19, version 6.1.1* Unable to pick what watches or warnings alerts on the radar. It is either all alerts or no alerts. I need to look at the map quickly and see what is heading our way. The radar itself is clear down to the street level and the lightning notice is helpful. I hope this app adds improvements to allow customizing the visuals on the map. ### 2/5 — Basic radar *2019-05-10, version 6.1.1* Latest version has cheapened the radar with smoothed edges which makes it much less detailed and fine tuned like it used to be. Also, radar loop was shortened to a 45 minute loop instead of the 2 hour loop which was way better. This version is competing with AccuWeather. Also I have to tap menu and forecast every time I want an updated local actual temperature. Go back to the original if it's not broke then you don't need to fix it. 6/3/17 I don't know what is going on with your app but now it has a homepage and you have to click on the weather link. I don't care about all that other stuff I just want the current conditions, forecast and notifications. The actual app doesn't even resemble what's in the App Store. Go back to the original app! Humidity as well. Also cannot delete map pin that was preloaded with app for Newburgh MI. This is not an app to use when storm chasing either. Use Radar Pro or PYKL. UPDATE: 5-01-2020. Temperature recording grossly inaccurate. Still cannot dump location map pin for Newburgh MI. Forecasting is weak and rarely accurate. Barometer reporting does not indicate rise or fall. Unfortunately this app has only once given me a forecast. The days just spin and spin. I thought it may have been due to cell network, but the same thing happens on wifi. On the day view, I scrub to see what the afternoon temps will be, again no data displayed. ### 1/5 — Clear night but alerted to danger!? *2016-04-01, version 3.14.1* I only have one favorite location saved as well as my preference for getting reports on my current position. For some unknown reason it is alerting me to approaching dangerous storms. It's a partly cloudy night with light rain cells 40 miles away moving into Lake Michigan. Voiceover will not let me access the settings. I am also blind. It has become inaccurate since that change. Can’t see the same weather detail. My only complaint is the lack of ability to remove custom locations after adding.
