I’ve met a bunch of great people on the app. It’s also a great way to let off steam. I feel like the only problem I run into is recording and it sounding off beat to me. Thanks y’all are heading in a right direction ### 5/5 — Best app I’ve ever downloaded *2021-07-23, version 4.29* This app is everything I’ve ever wanted and until I save up to spend thousands on great studio equipment this app can do most of what that equipment would do for me. I’d be lost without BARS! This is what I’ve been missing for years. The craziest and my favorite part is the vocal effects that are instantly applied and once you figure them out they are amazing! ### 5/5 — It only gets better from here *2021-07-13, version 4.27* I’ve been using this app for months when I got invited to try out early release. It has came so far from that point and I can’t wait to see it grow more with time. The community is getting bigger by the day and the range of skill is very versatile, you have new cats and you have people that have been doing this for years. It’s a great marketing tool and a great way to have fun. And trust me, if you’re dope people will notice you. My only suggestion to developers is to work more on the personal profiles of the artists. Have a follower count with spots to put your social links, maybe even a user leaderboard! That way you can see people in your skill level and make it easier to Collab. The only downside is that i just got my first follower as i had no clue this app EVEN had a follow feature until now, the follow button is tucked away in a 3 dot dropdown. Please fix this and make a proper follow button above the bio!! There is so many more great things i can say about this app tho, download this app and see what im talking about. I will update my rating to five star as soon as the follow button is added since everything else with this app is perfect, i love the constant new beats that get added, very entertaining and easy. 5 out of 5. ### 5/5 — Eh? *2021-05-29, version 4.21* I really like this app but the reason I give it 3 stars is because I can’t share my bars. Every time I share the app crashes. I’ve tried 10+ times to share but no luck. I wish this issue could be fixed but maybe I’m the only one who has this problem. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Update: they fixed it shortly after I made this review. I give this app 5 stars because it has consumed so much of my time in a good way. I highly recommend it. I will suggest this app to anyone who loves the art of hip hop. Seasoned rhyme slinger or novice will love this app. I guarantee. ### 5/5 — The best Rap app out *2021-05-25, version 4.21* This app is awesome, dope features, cool community, and bunch of dope talented lyricists and singers! It allows you to create instantly, gives you the beats, integrated notes, and a few video and audio FX (including autotune, alien voice octaves, and Radio voice! (*for now until they update it) but it works really good. There is a cypher button to collab with other artists with prerecorded spaces. They even feature you on the page and socials if you kill it and gain a little exposure....they have competitions for distribution, word generator, challenges .. No big glitches- the community is awesome- everybody shows love- no negativity (some people try to do follow for follow but that’s not bad) but it’s really all positive for me!! The weird delay between your headphones and the mic ruins your flow and you lose track of your rhymes. Your supposed to be able to turn mic monitor off but every time I try the app crashes making it completely unusable. Once this bug is fixed this app will be amazing and I can’t wait to start using it and uploading some freestyles. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2021-03-14, version 4.15* Don’t even waste your time your better off just recording with your camera and have a beat playing in the background. The beats provided are all wack with no option to use your own provided beat. The only draw to this app was the audio effect editing because the video editing is a joke but the audio editing is even worse. The idea for an app like this is possibly a good idea but the apps performance is mediocre. Would not recommend. ### 3/5 — The app is dope but.. *2022-01-13, version 4.46* The app is dope but it keeps crashing Every time I go to upload it keep stating something is wrong at first I thought it was something with my phone but then I logged in using my second phone and it was the same problem, then I thought it was my WiFi so I used my 5G data and I was still having the same problem. Over all the app is dope great way to network with talented artist as well as get your skills up! ### 3/5 — Great app Idea, minor adjustments can be made *2021-08-13, version 4.32* I love this Idea but there are some minor adjustments that could make it much more user friendly. When I rap, everything I say echoes back in the mix half a second after I said it and it throws off my timing ALOT. If you keep vocals out of the earbuds when recording, people will make better tracks that have better time. ### 3/5 — Super dope so far but missing some key features imo *2021-03-26, version 4.16* My biggest issue is that I can’t see who I’ve followed to find their posts again. Sometimes you just wanna go back and listen to a cool post you remember and see what they’re up to. You have to actually remember their name to search them. 😬 also can’t unfollow someone unless they pop up in the feed or notifications again. And I’m not sure why you can tap the fire button as much as you want. That seems like a big issue for the future. I’m also weirded out that I can’t find anything about submitting beats to this as a producer. Producers should have a lot of stake here too and help give people a wide variety of beats to rap over. There doesn’t seem to be any public approval process yet. I’d love to see that later. When all this stuff is address I’d gladly change my review. ### 4/5 — Dope, however… *2023-02-17, version 4.64* it feels like the developers gave up on the updates which hurts because it really stunted the growth of a beautifully blooming community. The feature, filters and options are all super dope. Can we PLEASE get some new beats please? Well it is new and needs some work which will come in due time but overall it’s fun and addicting and will only get better as users like you and use the app. You’ll want to jump on many cyphers and even create your own snippets of songs with the beats provided.
