## What is BarterSci?

BarterSci is a scientific collaboration marketplace. Post what your research is missing — an instrument run, a methods review, a data analysis, a co-author — and connect with scientists who can actually advance your science.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Post a task. Describe what you need: a 4-hour confocal session, a methods sanity check, a co-author on a paper — anything specific.

2. Receive proposals. Collaborators explain how they'd approach the work. Review their profile, fields, and prior work, then accept the one that fits.

3. Collaborate. An accepted proposal opens a private thread to coordinate. Outcomes range from co-authorship to instrument access to a paid commission — your choice, not ours.
