## What is Bartr?

Trade anything for anything.

A camera for a coffee machine. A spare chair for a new hobby. A bike for a guitar. Bartr helps you swap items with people nearby, turning what you have into what you need.

LIST WHAT YOU HAVE
Add photos, describe your item, and say what you would like in return. Give the details that help someone decide whether it is right for them.

FIND YOUR NEXT TRADE
Browse nearby listings or search for something specific. Check photos, condition, estimated value, and the approximate location. Save your favorites to come back to later.

MAKE AN OFFER
Offer something of your own and agree the details together. If the values differ, you can propose a cash top-up. You arrange any payment directly with the other person; Bartr does not process payments.

CHAT AND MEET
Ask questions, discuss your offer, and arrange a place and time to meet through in-app chat. Keep the conversation and trade details together.

GET A HAND FROM BUDDY
Ask Bartr Buddy, your AI assistant, to help you discover listings and explore potential trades. You decide what to offer and which trades to make.

BROWSE ON YOUR TERMS
Explore listings as a guest before creating an account. Location permission is optional: you can choose an area to browse. Public map pins show an approximate area rather than your exact location. Report content or block users from within the app.
