If you create an optional account, cloud-enabled features sync only what they need, encrypted in transit and at rest, and you can delete it anytime from Settings. Your data is never sold or shared with third parties.

Base Level Plus is an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
