Second, the mechanics and logic in the game are horrible. Players in the the game can’t even makes basic throw to a base and the infield rarely makes a realistic play. The logic in the game is horrible as well. The baserunners always run even if it’s a hit in the infield, they run from 2nd to 3rd and automatically get out. It’s almost like the developers are lazy or have never played a inning of actual baseball in their lives. ### 1/5 — Worst game of all time *2017-06-09* Almost every pitch is a strike when hitting and when it goes right down the middle you think you hit it square it ends up a lazy pop up or groundout. Also if there's a runner on 2nd or 3rd and you hit it to the shortstop your runner on 2nd or 3rd automatically runs to the next base which causes them to get thrown out and they run 1 mph. Pitching is so frustrating when you have max spin on the pitch and bases loaded it's a automatic wild pitch to score in a run. When you miss the little tiny Cirle that only appears for one second it's a always a no doubt homerun. But overall that game is complete mediocre theirs nothing good about it. I rate it no stars ### 1/5 — Absurdly painful to play *2017-01-25* I fail to see the point of this game. First off, the idea of playing only the ninth inning is kind of lame, but when it's next to impossible to perform even the simplest task, it gets old really fast. The pitching tutorial makes it seem pretty straightforward, but that bears no resemblance whatsoever to the actual game. Unless you pitch in a perfectly straight, 6-to-12 o'clock line, the ball goes all over the place, usually hitting the batter or going completely wild. But does the catcher ever set up right behind the plate? Maybe one pitch in five, which means it's not possible to pitch the ball straight, which in turn means the bases are constantly being loaded, and you force runners home like they were coming off an assembly line. I will refrain from going into depth on the the idiotic, slow-moving infielders, as others have already covered that aspect. At bat, unless you hit it out of the park, you will most likely ground out. Even if you spank one into right field, your chances of being thrown out at first are about 50-50. As everyone knows, this is exactly like baseball in real life! Not. Unless Andre Dawson is playing, and there's no way he would agree to play for these lousy teams, certainly not for the league-minimum salary (that's a Cubs joke). The only consolation is that the runners are just as slow-moving and poorly animated as the fielders. Wait, is that a consolation? Hmm, guess not. Luckily, this game is free, so I did not waste any money on it... Although, there is the wasted time to consider. Don't waste yours. ### 2/5 — This is almost the worst baseball game *2026-04-16, version 1.7* It's to weird like how does the wind go like that. Also it's too easy.
