I’ve been using this app religiously since approximately 2019 and I just wanted to express my appreciation for this amazing app! however, this new update is not my cup of tea. When i click on a players profile, for example Josh Billings of the 1922 Browns, i used to be able to click on “career” followed by the three lines in the top right corner, which would then list things such as transactions, links to the players wikipedia page, their baseball reference, and their retrosheet pages. these for some reason have been removed. I hope they can come back! I don’t know if this is a bug on my end or if you removed them entirely but i wanted to make mention of this and hopefully clear things up! Thanks, Anthony **Developer response:** Thanks for reporting this bug. I made many changes to the code internally to bring it up to modern Swift and UIKit standards. (The app was written in 2007 and has evolved a lot since then but sometimes code needs a cleanup.) I am working on a fix to put these menu options back and hopefully you will see an update soon. Except for one thing. No stats from previous season 2025. Those numbers will cost 4.99. No free lunch. I've been using since the beginning and what a way of stopping that know it all friend when talking baseball. haha I'm still mad that MLB won't allow the use of teams logos. I stopped buying MLB gear. Makes me feel better. Anyway it's a great app, all baseball fans should own this app. Just push the "get" button and take a look. No brainer. ### 5/5 — EVERYTHING YOU NEED *2015-04-19* I have had this app since day one. Each year it gets better and better with more and more information. Every player, team and stat you could ever want is contained in one app. Want a player’s life time stats, turn to landscape. About the only thing you won’t find is annual sunflower seed consumption per player, how many times per season they spit on the dugout floor and a listing of uniform numbers. When I found a bug in the latest release, I reported it, heard back immediately from the developer, and the bug was fixed within a day or two. There is a lot of information in this app to update annually. I certainly think it’s a steal at $2.99 and I would still but it at $3.99 or even $5.99. I like baseball and I certainly like Baseball Statistics 2015. It’s not really baseball season until this app is updated and released. A great thank you to Mark at Bulbous Ventures for making this. ### 5/5 — Outstanding Program *2015-02-11* Any baseball fan should have this program, it is truly outstanding. You could spend hours reading the stats of past and present players. I enjoy reading about the teams, where they began and any moves they have made over the years. Can't wait for the 2015 edition. Ripoff ### 1/5 — Just use baseball-reference *2019-04-13* This is an all around terrible app. It’s a great idea, poorly executed. they have free stats up till 2 years prior, you have to pay to look up stats from last and the current year. They only have MLB stats. I love stats and would love an app for stats because the web based sites are hard to look at. I think it's time to find another app to do the same thing -except, it will actually open & work. I wouldn't complain but not one word has been said about this app not working properly. No apology. The app takes you to screens that there is no way to back out of making you have to force close the app and restart it. Very troubling. I would give it more stars if I could actually mess around with it. I want to see stats for 2011. Looks like the developer took the free Lahman database and just parsed it.
