## What is Basecam?

Photos should feel like memories—not an algorithm.

Basecam is a fast, focused camera for natural-looking iPhone photography. Its deliberately minimal capture pipeline disables Basecam filters, cross-camera fusion, red-eye correction, depth effects, and other optional enhancements so texture and color stay honest.

Open straight into the camera and press the large red shutter. Capture rapidly while Basecam saves in the background, tap anywhere to focus, or use the volume and Camera Control buttons when supported.

CHOOSE THE FILE YOU WANT

• HEIF for efficient, ready-to-share photos
• JPEG for broad compatibility
• Bayer RAW (DNG) for minimally processed sensor data on supported cameras

A CAMERA CONTROL YOU CAN FEEL

Scrub smoothly between available zoom levels with tactile feedback at every step and firm haptic detents at native lens positions. Tap 1× to switch supported 24 mm, 28 mm, and 35 mm main-camera crops when your iPhone offers them.

SIMPLE CREATIVE CHOICES

Swipe the viewfinder between Natural and Mono. RAW always stays unstyled so you keep clean sensor data for editing. Rotate to landscape and the viewfinder moves beside compact controls for a comfortable two-handed grip.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Photos save directly to your photo library. Basecam requires no account and does not upload your images.

Feature availability depends on your iPhone camera hardware. RAW is available only on supported rear cameras.
