## What is Baseline?

Baseline — Know What’s Actually Working

Baseline is a personal research journal for people running peptide protocols. It is not a dose calculator, not a social network, and not a medical app. It is a simple tool for answering one question honestly: is this working for me?

How it works

1. Write a hypothesis
State what you think will change, in your own words.

2. Measure your baseline
Log 3–10 days of daily check-ins before you start, using the measures that matter to you, such as pain, energy, sleep, mood, mobility, libido, mental clarity, or recovery.

3. Run the active phase
Continue daily check-ins for 14–56 days. Log doses and note confounders like sleep, stress, and travel.

4. Read your trial report
See a side-by-side comparison of your baseline and active averages for every measure, with trend lines and a plain-English summary you can screenshot and share.

Why Baseline is different

Calm and honest
No hype, no claims. Baseline never tells you something is working. It helps you find out.
Local-first and private
Every check-in, dose, and photo stays on your device. No accounts. No cloud sync. No analytics on your health data.
Built around the report
Every screen in Baseline is designed to help you create one clear, trustworthy trial report at the end.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-04-30

What's new:

  • Experiment templates. Starting a new experiment now begins with what you're trying to learn — Pain & mobility, Sleep & recovery, Mood & focus, Body
composition, Skin & appearance, Energy & vitality. We pre-fill the right measures, baseline period, and a hypothesis sentence frame for you to customize.
You can still design from scratch.

  • Honest reporting on overlapping experiments. Running two protocols at once? Your trial report now includes a Trial Conditions section listing what
overlapped, when, and which measures were shared between them. Insights and protocol detail show the same context. The shareable report is more credible
because it tells the truth about confound risk instead of pretending each experiment ran in isolation.

  • Fixed: the "can't log until 8 PM" bug. A timezone issue was causing some evening check-ins to be saved under the wrong day, which then blocked you from
logging "today" until late the next night. Resolved. Every entry is now dated to your local day.

  • Quieter daily reminders. The notification copy is a small rotating set of calmer prompts ("A minute for today's observation.") instead of the same nag
  every day.

  • Polish. A real error screen instead of a blank white page if anything goes wrong. Larger tab bar tap targets so you don't have to aim for the icon. A
crisper "+" mark. The "Today's entry recorded" pill now matches the height of the record button, so the layout doesn't pop between days.

Your data is still local-only. No accounts. No cloud. No tracking.
