### 4/5 — Great game but preview video shows different game?

*2026-07-13*

I haven’t played part 2 yet but so far the basement has lived up to its predecessors. It did feel a bit short and the puzzles seemed to get easier as you went on instead of harder. But maybe that was just my brain getting used to the puzzle mechanics. One thing that confuses me is that the little video trailer in the App Store seems to show puzzles and rooms and a bunch of gameplay that was not in the game. Idk if it includes puzzles from part 2 or if a massive update was done but it leaves me with FOMO. The light flickering and sounds didn’t bother me at all. Overall, it’s worth the $2. Would recommend.

### 5/5 — Challenging!

*2026-06-23*

Every Orpheus game is harder than the last, which is one of the things I love about this developer. This is the hardest game since The Freezer. Not so difficult to put me off, but super tricky. I. Love. It.

### 5/5 — You’re back!

*2026-06-16*

I periodically check to see if there are any new games by BW and Lo! not 1 but 2 (well, 1 game in 2 parts) as always it was challenging, weird and gory🤗 Keep them coming!

### 5/5 — Fun game

*2026-05-30*

This is a fun, creative game. Well worth the price if you like escape rooms. It’s nice to support developers making this type of game! The developer is very responsive to feedback.

### 4/5 — Looking good

*2026-05-19*

I’m liking this game a lot. It’s been a while since your last game so looking forward to

### 5/5 — Good game

*2026-05-19*

Enjoying this but not got far as I cannot get the calling card supposedly in the plant

### 5/5 — So happy!

*2026-05-13*

I’m surprised I’ve only just found this it didn’t seem more than a week that I was checking for new games here but time does fly. I’m incredibly pleased to find a new one as I love the previous games. Can’t wait to begin! 😃
Edit : just finished part 1 and it was excellent and ridiculously good value at such a small price as it’s pretty long with lots of brilliant puzzles. A huge thank you to this incredibly talented creator.

### 5/5 — Loved it!

*2026-05-04*

These games by this developer keep getting better. There’s a good storyline, the puzzles make sense, production quality from the sfx to vo to music is great. I especially loved the art! Made me feel like I was interacting with a graphic novel, like I was in the story. Can’t wait to play part 2.

### 3/5 — Disappointed

*2026-05-03*

I have played every Hotel Orpheus game numerous times and absolutely love them. This game, however, doesn’t stack up.
The loud uncomfortable noises, constant flickering lights and electric shock deaths make the game nearly unplayable for me.
I’m disappointed in the lack of interaction with most of the environment and the very unclear direction makes the game feel like a chore.
I am unable to progress due to a bug where the key for mailbox 909 is not in the jacket in the mailroom. I’m hoping this is just user error and not a bug.
This franchise is usually fantastic and I’m sure, with a few tweaks, it will be again.
I’m thankful for these developers and the unique, ingenuity if these games. I’ll always be a fan.

### 3/5 — Loved previous work but this is buggy

*2026-04-29*

Very atmospheric but lots of pixel-hunting in dark corners and at least 3 puzzles unsolvable due to bugs. Will wait for the update
