It only shows the coupons. I’m young & very versed in using apps. It’s practically useless. Can’t just search for things & see prices unless it’s on sale. If you pull up the weekly ad, you have no ability to make anything larger so you spend a lot of wasted time clicking & often times if it is something in the ad you’re trying to add to your shopping list. It will say added but you pull up your list and it’s not there. I shop on Walmart, Fry’s and Safeway app so I would say the app is the problem not me. I can assemble a list in five minutes from another store. You better pack a lunch if you’re shopping on bashes I just can’t believe the developers have the ability to see these things and actually think this is a good app. Really?! ### 2/5 — Difficult App to use! *2024-07-26, version 2.0.4.7.5* I’m writing a review to let people know how I was able to fix the app to make it usable. I had to reset passwords for both myself and my husband and the app still wouldn’t take the new passwords even though they were correct. The trick is you have to remove the app completely and then put in the credentials then it seems to work so if you know your passwords correct and the email you put in is correct. I down loaded the app with my printed weekly ad in hand. I began my “list” and only 2 items ever added to the list. After a considerable length of time trying to get your app to work, I have conceded. But it really needs Apple wallet integration, it’s {current year} and I still have to open the app and navigate to the right spot if I want to scan my id? What? My elderly mother can’t use apps. You should all be ashamed. All within 2 miles. Both the Fry’s and Safeway app allow the shopper to create a list based on entering an item in the search bar and then the applicable options come up. Bashas does not let you do this. My Fry’ store I input milk and up come the available option in inventory. Safeway samething. Bashas I input milk and NOTHING came up. Really there is no milk of any brand or any kind at the store. Was trying to save myself from driving to both stores and wanted to go directly to the store that had the item I needed. The Bashas app thwarted my every attempt to see if they had Shamrock milk in stock today as Fry’s was out. After messing with the app for a half hour I realized this can’t be done. Your app designers need to do focus groups on how clients want to use the app. This app appears to only be good for coupons and only exactly what you type. I have never had so much trouble with an app. Often times I have to wait to shop or have to tell the cashier I can’t get my app to work. And when I have written requests to Basahas I get a computer generated response saying that they will “look into it “. And 3 years in, no improvements/fixes to the obvious ongoing bugs. Under pickup/delivery on the app it doesn’t keep you logged in. You have to keep signing back in over and over- using a code. A code that doesn’t stay up on the log in so you have to do it a few times. If you get to place an order (it’s InstaCart) you cannot log into your order to review changes or updates while they are shopping. As link never works. You also cannot get to your order easily if you go back to the app, you’ll have to get codes over and over to even find it. Thankfully text responses work. And then it still wouldn’t let me just look up an item without creating an account. Incredibly frustrating. You can’t scan an item to find it in the app, and the search function often can’t find it either. Digital coupons often don’t appear, and discounts are shown differently on different sections of the app for the same product. Limits on sale items are usually wrong, too.
