Seriously. The customization abilities are unmatched: you can easily track what you care about without superfluous bells and whistles. Only looking to track protein? Calories? Carbs? Toggle on whichever combination you want. Plus, BFF makes it easy to add your food data. You can scan a barcode and it will populate that product’s nutrition info. You can save and select meals that you eat often. You can import a recipe from a URL. If you just want to be mindful of what you’re eating, you can forgo all metrics and keep a food journal. For exercise, you can select to view only the strength and cardio activities you care about – and on the days you choose. As in, only your leg routines appear on leg day!! And the best part? NO ADS, NO ACCOUNT NEEDED, NO BS. All your data is stored locally to your device for one year: no creepy sharing or selling. This app is truly a breath of fresh air in a sea of tech surveillance.
